Scarlett groaned to herself as she woke up. She was finally out of the hospital. She sat up in bed and sighed as she ran her hands through her hair and sighed as she felt nauseous.  

She looked to see Cain as he lay asleep next to her and sighed as she stood from the bed and walked into the bathroom as she started to throw up. Scarlett knew that her head was a mess and that she was pregnant but she knew how excited that she was to have a baby last time and she didn't know if she could go through the heartbreak again.

Scarlett sat hunched over the toilet throwing up as she looked to see Cain as he walked in as she finished throwing up as she flushed the toilet and rested her head back

"are you okay" Cain asked as she looked to him and smiled

"I guess" Scarlett said as he looked to her and smiled

"I know what happened last time but I do know that I want this baby, I want it all with you and I promise I'll let this go with Jamie and I'll focus on you and the kids" he said as she offered him her hand as he pulled her to her feet and smiled as she placed a hand on his cheek

"promise" she asked as he nodded

"promise" he said as he kissed her forehead

Scarlett walked into the home farm and groaned as she sat down as Chloe looked to her

"how are you feeling" Chloe asked as scarlett looked to her and smiled

"like utter death" Scarlett said as Chloe smiled

"I know the feeling but it will be okay, you and Cain are good together, I mean you were more complicated than me and graham and here you are living together and having a baby. He loves you" Chloe said as Scarlett smiled

"living in a house mum gave us, that's what it is. Have you and graham not sorted I thought he woke up" Scarlett asked as Chloe looked to her and nodded

"he did but I can't,,,he left said he needed to get his head clear I mean I don't blame him someone tried to kill him but I don't even know if he is coming back and if it was me I guess I could get it but what about Esmè, she is so confused over where her daddy is and I don't know what to tell her" Chloe said as Scarlett looked to her and smiled

"I know it's hard but you are there for Esmè and graham will come back. Trust me he will" Scarlett said as Chloe looked to her and smiled.

Scarlett placed a hand on her stomach and sighed hoping that she and Cain could do this

Scarlett stood in the kitchen at home farm. She heard Kim who was on the phone and frowned

"look, keep it quiet, no now can know" Kim said as she hung up the phone and walked into the kitchen

"what have you done" Scarlett asked as Kim looked to her and frowned

"what do you mean" Kim asked as Scarlett looked to her and rolled her eyes

"I know you mum and I know that you have done something, I grew up with you I am practically you. So what did you do" Scarlett asked as Kim frowned.

But was Scarlett really ready to know just what her mother was capable of?
