Jack's POV
"No" he said for the 100th time "I'm not giving you her phone number" he was getting tired of repeating the same thing over, and over, and over again
Finally Regina got out of the classroom, and Jack ran next to her and put his arm around her ,like always
"What'd he say?" Jack asked
"He said that I'm good in history and that the pop quiz went great and that I don't need a tutor" she answered and smiled
"What did you expect from a bookworm?" Jack smirked and Regina laughed
"The book club isn't that bad" she said "you should learn to read and join the club" this time Regina smirked
Jack remember the book Regina had given him before she went back home with her parents, like 7 years or so
"Ha-ha" Jack said "why don't you teach me how to read?" He asked
"Because it's Friday and we have a date" she said
'Holy sh-' Jack thought before being interrupted by Kevin
"I thought we had a date" Kevin said behind him
"We do" Regina said "Jack is also coming with..." She looks at Jack
"With nobody" he smiled "my friend didn't want to come" he said
It was a lie. Jack had never asked anybody to go with him, he knew Kevin had something under his sleeve
'Or maybe you just love her' his brain told him
'SHUT UP BRAIN YOU KNOW NO SH*T' he told his brain

Regina's POV
When Regina and Josh arrived home, Robert was waiting for them. He ran towards Regina and hugged her
"It worked" Robert said, like if he had just discovered what an iPhone was
"What worked Robbie?" Regina asked
"Sophie is coming tonight to watch a movie with me" he smiled "its a date"
Josh laughed
"Congrats" he told him
Regina and Josh went to the kitchen, Rosalie was there
"Hey aunt Rosalie" Regina said
"Hey kids, how was school?" She asked
"Boring" Regina said "I saw that you hired Sophie to 'babysit' Robbie" she says while taking a bite of an apple
"He's really exited" Rosalie answered
The door knocked
"I'll go" Rosalie said, she went to open the door, and it was Kevin
"Hi Kevin, how are you?" Rosalie asked
"fine, thanks, how are you Rose?" He asked
"Fine" she smiled at him "come in"
"Who is it?" Regina asked
"Kevin" she answered
Regina went to the door "I thought we were going until 7" she said while chewing another piece of apple
Kevin laughed "I said we'd be back at 7"
"Oh sh-"
"Language" Jack appeared behind Kevin interrupting her, she smiled, somehow Regina felt more comfortable around Jack, she felt save
"Let's go" Regina says getting out of the house

"What was that for" Jack said laughing, rubbing his arm were Regina pinched him
"For eating my last piece of pie" she said a little bit angry
Kevin laughed and then looked at Regina
"I've never seen a girl eat like you do" he said
"Of course you have" Regina answered "you just did" she smiles at him
Regina liked Kevin, but she had to have in mind what Jack told him
"Fuuuuuu" Jack was about to say fuck but Regina turned towards him and glared at him, her glare said something like 'don't you even dare' "uuudge" Jack finished
"Mmhmm" Regina said
"Movie starts in 5" Jack said
"Jack could you get the popcorn while Regina and I-" Kevin said
"Why don't you go for the popcorn?" Jack asked
"Because I don't want to" Kevin answered
"What makes you think I want to go for the popcorn" Jack said defensively
"OMG please, could you stop acting like little kids" Regina said stressed "I'll get the popcorn, you two go ahead" she said walking towards the line
"But" Kevin starte, but he didn't finish because Regina looked at him with her 'don't-fight-with-me' face "you'll need money" he said trying to make it sound like he always wanted to say that
Regina smiled sat him "thanks" she took the money and kissed him in the cheek

Jack's POV
"So you're telling me she's part of a bet?!" Jack said almost yelling
"Shhhhh" Kevin said "dude lower your voice" Kevin looked around
"I'm not gonna freaking lower my voice" Jack answered angrily "she is my friend, and I'm not gonna let you hurt her that way, man" he said and pushed Kevin to the side, Kevin pulled him
"Don't you ever push me again" Kevin warned Jack
"Or what" Jack said getting closer to him "I'll be part of a freaking bet, just like Regina is"
The boys herd a loud noise, like if something had just fallen. They turned around to see Regina with tears in her eyes
"I'm part of a bet?" She asked hurt
Jack hated to see her like that.
"Yeah" he said softly "Kevin made a bet with some idiots" he said in an angrier tone "that he'd ask you out and..." He couldn't finish, he didn't want to say it
"Do it" Regina finished, Jack thought that Regina had to be strong to tolerate that "I can't believe it" she said with more tears running down her face
Regina was about to turn around and leave, but she walked towards Kevin and slapped him in the face hard, really hard.
'I bet they heard that in China' he thought
"Next time you make me part of a bet" she said "think about it until your brains start burning" then she ran away
Jack glared at Kevin
"I have to disagree with Regina" he said, then turned towards Kevin and said "don't you ever even think about making Regina part of a bet" he pushed Kevin and ran behind Regina
