[196] THE RIGHT WRONG - JIKOOK [COMPLETED]

Finale

Taehyung breaks up with Jimin, his boyfriend of 2 months. They had been best friends for about 4 years now. Taehyung was the one who asked Jimin  out and he was the one to break them up after realizing that he could never see Jimin as anything more than a friend. Taehyung felt guilty for hurting Jimin, he doesn't know how to handle Jimin's broken look and blocks Jimin's contact from his phone.

It hurt Jimin a lot. It was his first relationship and best friend. He felt betrayed. 

Jimin went into a slight depression. He felt worthless and used. 

He needed to blame someone but that someone has blocked him and is avoiding him completely. And so he took to emailing Taehyung daily, just to let out his frustrations

The only email Jimin knew about was the company email id Taehyung used, which he had memorized

Jimin would email the man daily but he received no response. In an attempt to get attention  he threatened that he would harm himself and that got the man's attention 

Please don't hurt yourself. I'm so sorry for what I have done. Please don't do that because of me. You deserve so much more than I could give you. Please forgive me.

Jimin for the first time in a month smiled reading that 

The man started emailing Jimin when the smaller eventually stopped messaging daily. It seemed like the man was worried if Jimin did something to himself. Jimin smiled. Taehyung still cared even if they were not together. That gave him the strength and confidence to live his life again. It gave him hope that he deserved to be loved too

They kept emailing back and forth for 2 months. Jimin really liked this new flirty side to Taehyung. Their conversations starting becoming more romantic and funny as the days went by and Jimin couldn't help but fall for the man all over again

After the 3rd month, the man asks Jimin to meet him at their favorite restaurant. 

Jimin dresses up well to meet Taehyung in 3 months of their conversation. 

Just as he left his apartment, he saw Taehyung talking to someone outside his apartment complex, that someone being Hoseok his neighbor.

"Hi Tae" Jimin smiles wide "...I thought we were meeting at the restaurant"

Taehyung and Hoseok,their eyes widened. They didn't mean to get caught. You see Taehyung has been dating Hoseok for a month now. They always met at Taehyung's place to not accidentally run into Jimin

Jimin was upset when he realised that Taehyung was never the one to reply to his emails. You see Taehyung left the marketing department and the now email id belonged to the guy who took over his position. 

"Then who was it?" Jimin frowns 

"I don't know but you better find out…" Taehyung says as he walks away with Hoseok 

Surprisingly Jimin felt nothing seeing the boy leave with Hoseok

The receptionist leads Jimin to one of the private rooms. The reservation was under Park Jimin. 

Jimin's eyes widen when  he sees the man in front of him  stand up to greet him. That man, Jungkook was Taehyung's colleague at work. They had met once or twice when Jimin joined Taehyung for lunch

Jimin felt angry and betrayed 

"So you think you can just fake being someone else ... Are you  that desperate? Or did you enjoy making a fool out of me?" 

Jungkook is shocked at the outburst 

"I…"

"Was it fun playing with me…" Jimin couldn't control his tears. He hated being weak, but he was upset. He thought he was falling in love with a more friendly and funny side of Taehyung, only to realise that it Jungkook all along. It hurt. He was afraid to get hurt again

"I'm sorry Jimin… so sorry…" Jungkook says walking up to Jimin

Jimin steps back at that and Jungkook stops in his path 

"How could you?!" Jimin's angry tears hurt the taller "... I thought I was falling in love with a new side to Taehyung..... how dare you?!... how dare you play me like this?! ... how dare you say you love me?! Did you have fun?! How dare you lie about…"

Jungkook smashes his lips against Jimin's. He couldn't take Jimin accusing him anymore 

"I never lied.. I never lied about my feelings for you…" Jungkook sighs as he wipes Jimin's eyes. Jimin just stood there silently sobbing "...I fell for you the day I first saw you with Taehyung… but I couldn't do anything, you were his. And then one day I see your messages. I wanted to let Taehyung know but I got selfish. I let the messages be your way of relieving your frustrations. I wanted at least that much, at least to be part of your healing process...." Jimin looked at the passion in the taller's eyes "...I was selfish. I didn't even want to give him that. I didn't reply because those messages weren't for me. But then you emailed me seeing you would harm yourself and I couldn't hold back anymore. And then again I got selfish,I wanted to heal you and show you you are worth all the love in this world. That's why I replied by acting as him. But whatever else we have messaged were about me. How come you didn't notice I always talk about Iron man. You know Taehyung hates the avengers and overwatch games…."

Jimin's lips are trembling 

"I love you. I finally decided to confess the truth after almost 3 months, because I love you, I want you to be mine.. and I don't want to hide anymore. Please believe me when I say that I never intended to hurt you or embarrass you. I thought I was helping you. I love you so much… I don't want to lose you …. Again"

Jimin looks at Jungkook with his teary eyes 

"Please forgive me. Please give us a chance. You told me you like this side of me. This is the real me…" Jungkook's voice wavers 

Jimin wipes the tear that escaped the man's eyes 

"You want to start all over again?" 

Jungkook nods his head 

"I really would.."

Jimin moves back a little 

"Hi, I'm Jimin. It's nice to meet you… would you like to date me?"

Jungkook's eyes widen as he nods feverishly 

"Yes! Yes!" 

Jimin laughs 

"Please don't hurt me or lie to me again. For whatever reason…" Jimin says hugging the boy "...thank you for encouraging me and reminding me that life is worth living. That life goes on, no matter what the exterior looks like and that I have to live on… thank you for supporting me through my darkest times, even if it was through emails. It made me happier and stronger and confident. Thank you Jungkook…" 

Jimin pulls away from the hug to cup the man's face "...I really like you…"

Jimin softly pecks the man's lips. Jungkook rests his forehead against Jimin's, both closing their eyes as they wrapped their arms around each other's waist

"Thank you for giving me a chance Jimin… I was afraid you would leave me…" 

"I would have… actually I should .. I mean someone who lied at the start of a relationship even in friendship… I don't think it's that trustable…" Jungkook's face visibly saddens "… but somehow I like you.. and I am tired of waiting for someone who doesn't love me… and now that I have found someone who loves me and I feel the same… I am willing to risk it …" Jungkook's eyes widen "... I trust you Jungkook… I'm giving you my heart… please don't break it"

"I won't… I promise…" Jungkook says softly kissing the boy's forehead
