Chapter 1

My name is Leilani, i'm your average type of girl who stays in the house most nights and works at a retirement home in the day time. My friends have always told me I need to loosen up and go out more. I always liked staying in the house because it kept me out of trouble. And by trouble i mean boys trying to throw themselves at me. I guess you could say I have a hour glass body, and as some of my friends say "miss pretty face". I know I'm pretty but I've never been the one to brag or act conceited. I know the good Lord blessed me but I don't need to flaunt it.

My best friend Julissa had finally chosen to text me after being M.I.A. the last few days.
"Hey, boo sorry for not texting you .. I been so busy you know with work stuff." the text read.

"Don't be leaving me on read bitch" I laughed as i read the text and clicked the empty box so I could type back.
"Girl, you don't got no damn job why you lying? I know you been laid up with your man but it's cool i ain't mad at you." I typed and then clicked send.
I hurried out to my car and drove off to work. I didn't want my manger to be on my ass if I clocked in a minute late.
I got to my job at about 4:03 p.m. I already know my manager is about to be on me. As I walked to where my residents were I watched smiles grow on their faces.
"Mrs. Dinero , how are you today?"
"Could be better , but i'm stuck in this hell hole" she said Ashe chuckled.
I love Mrs. Dinero , she was a sweet old lady but she also could speak her mind. I kept on walking down the hall to clock in and saw my manager waiting by the employee break room.
"Your late Leilani.." My manger Kara said as she shook her head.
"By three minutes Kara, and you know i never miss a day of work." I rebuttaled.
She gave me a long sigh before she walked away.
She knows I'm the best employee, I literally show up more than the other workers, I am always covering others shifts but she won't acknowledge that.
I walked out of the break room and into one of my residents room.
"Hey Mrs. Dinero , is there anything i can get you right now?"
She shook her head.
"okay, well let me know if you need anything I said as I was about to leave her room.
"Leilani, wait!" Mrs. Dinero screamed.
"Yes?"
"I wanted to tell you I had a dream about you last night."
"really? and what did your dream contain?" i asked i sat next to her on her couch.
"well if you poppin up in my dreams it means I see you too much." she chuckled.
I am always workin , 24/7.
"hunny, i love you.. i don't want to tell you what to do but when i was your age i didn't enjoy life the way i was supposed to. life just passed me by , i was always workin never had time for friends or to do anything fun and i see that in you. you seem bored in your life and you need excitement."
"wow, it's crazy how you can read me like that.. that's honestly all i do is work." i laughed as i said to myself.
"do something fun for a change instead of always bein here .. take some time to do you." she said as she yawned, and walked to her bed.
"would you like me to get your medicine for sleep?"
she shook her head and laid down.
"page me if you need anything." i said as I closed the door behind me.

It was 10:00 on the dot. It was time for me to go home. I started to pack all my stuff up in my bag and reached for my phone out my purse.
2 new messages from Julissa
"Bitch, guess who's in town!"
"ASAP rocky!!!"
I dropped my phone after I read that. Shit.
I picked it up and read the message again then clicked she contact name and called her. She answered on the first ring.
"ASAP is in town?"
"yes , i just found out on Facebook he went live and is having a concert down at the 40/40 club."
