Lakshman sat in his and Ram's room with a gloomy face, some time later Shatrughna and Bharath also came in the room.
Bh: Are kya hua lakshman, Ram bhaiyya kaha hai?
L: Astabal mai hai!
Sh: Kyaa!
L: Are kuch nahi tum dono ruko mai abhi aata hun!
Bh: thik hai.
Lakshman left leaving the other two confused.
Bh: Isko kya hua shatru?
Sh: Kya pata bhaiyya lagta hai satya mai kuch hua hai.
Bh: Haan Shatrughna.

Ram was giving horses their night meal but he had forgotten to brush their manes and had gone to sleep without doing that. Lakshman had noticed this but being barefoot a sharp nale stung his foot and made it's way deep into his feet. Lakshman was brushing the horses manes the whole night 🌃, some more nales found their ways in his feet, it made red marks as he started to walk towards the palace. Next morning Ram woke and and saw the red trail of blood making its way to lakshman's bed. Ram was shocked to see his bare legs with blood covering them.
R: Lakshman... Lakshman utho!!
L(sleepy): Kya hua bhaiyya kyu chilla rahe hain?
R(sternly): Lakshman utho tumhare pairo par kya laya hai?
Lakshman started to think of an excuses and one caught his attention.
L: Wo bhaiyya main kal van mai tha na to kate chub gye the main aushadhi lagana bhul gya tha.
R: Offo! Aai tumhe aushadhi laga lun
L: Ji bhaiyya chalie.
~Dining table~
S: Ram tum kal ghodo ke baal kangi karna bhul gye the!
R: Oh kshama kijie maa mai wo kar deta parantu mai kal bahot thak gya tha, islie bhul gya honga
S: koi baat nahi putra kal kisine kar wo kar lia, pata nahi kisne kia. Aur hume Astabal me bahar koi lal daag mile, kisike pair ke nishan.
Lakshman's eyes widened hearing this Ram looked at Lakshamn and immediately understood he was the one who had brushed the horses manes. He then understood about Lakshman's red feet and the marks of the red marks Sumitra was talking about. Sumitra noticed the herbal paste on Lakshman's feet.
S: Lakshman....Kahi tumne hi toh ashvo ki bal svare?
Lakshman knew there was no turning back now.
L(looking down): ji maa maine hi kia tha....
S: Pchh Lakshman maine kaha tha ki sirf Ram ye karya karega!
L(with innocent eyes): Maa parantu apne baaki logo ke lie kaha mai to Ram bhaiyya ki atma hun na yadi sharir wo kam na kare to wo kam atma ko karna chahie na. Aisa to Ram bhaiyya hi kehte hain.
Lakshman was looking so innocent Sumitra couldn't help but pull him into a hug and Ram couldn't help but have his eyes moist for the kind of love Lakshman had for him.
S: Ek baar Bharath ne bhi aisa hi jawab dia na hume, haina aarya
D: Haan usne kaha tha ki Shatrughna uska man hai!
Sh: Satya pitashree!?!?
D: Haan putra satya!
