Letting out a frustrated sigh I dropped my purse and keys in the foyer after I closed and locked my front door. I didn't even bother picking it up I was so tired. I knew I would be out for the night as soon as m head hit the pillow.

I was about to head up the stairs to my bedroom until a familiar voice made me stop dead in my tracks.

"Still dropping shit on the floor and leaving it? I used to get on your ass about that." Turning around my hands immediately flew over my mouth in shock. "Shocked to see me? You knew I was out why do you look so surprised?"

"What are you doing here? How did you find out where I lived Curtis?" I asked once I dropped my hands to my side.

"Did you think Denise wasn't going to tell me? Be for real Keish." As soon as he said that I rolled my eyes. She talks too damn much. "You look good, you've really grown up."

"I guess 16 years does that to you."

"You're right, but speaking of sixteen years. Where's my daughter?"

"Excuse me?"

"You heard me? Its past midnight I know I've been gone for a minute but I know how to count so I know she's only seventeen. What is a seventeen year old doing out of the house when it's past midnight?"

"You have some nerve." I had to laugh at this fool. He can't be serious. "You come walking in here questioning me like you got it like that. Are you crazy?"

"No I'm not crazy, but you will see some crazy shit if you don't tell me why my daughter isn't in the house."

"The same damn reason I wasn't in my mother's house when I was seventeen. Curtis we're not about to do this alright, you're giving me an interview when I already know Denise told you everything."

"Told me everything like what? All she said to me was if I wanted to see you I had to come here since you want to be stubborn and shit. What the fuck is there to tell me?"

"Get out of my house; I'm not doing this with you."

"Doing what with me? Where is Natasha?"

"Bye Curtis," I started to walk up the steps but he grabbed my arm and snatched me back down.

"Listen I know it's been a minute but you no better than to walk away from me like that. I'm not trying to beef with you, I just want to see my daughter where is she?"

"Now you care about her? Where was that concern when you went to jail?"

"You kept her from me, I bet you never gave her any of the letters my brother had for her did you?"

"Of course I didn't, what the fuck did you expect me to do? Bring my daughter up to a prison every other weekend? No it wasn't happening, I told you that."

"You can try to justify your fucked up actions all you want to Keish but we both know better. You could have let me have a relationship with my daughter. What you feel about me doesn't even matter."

"It does matter, why are you so worried about just Natasha? Have you tried to find your son? Are you harassing his mother?"

"This isn't about my son alright; all you need to be worried about is telling me where my daughter is. Speak the fuck up, why isn't she here?"

"She doesn't live here! Damnit, she moved out a long ass time ago."

"She moved out? How the fuck does a teenager just move out? Where is she?"

"I don't know where she is, if you want to find out you need to ask Denise. She still speaks to her from time to time."

"Wait let me get this straight, Natasha moved out and you don't know where she lives and you don't speak to her. Is that what you're telling me?"
