As Patrick was about to remove my shirt a deep growl came from my bedroom door making us pull apart.
My eyes turned into thin slits when I saw Ty throwing his head back with laughter. Me and Patrick watched him as he tried to catch his breath. His face was bright red with laughter. Seconds later a very annoyed Patrick growled. "Y-your faces," was all what Ty managed to choke out. I could feel my face heating up so no doubt that I was full on blushing right now. How embarrassing I thought. From the corner of my eye I saw Patrick flick his eyes at me briefly.
"Ty if you don't leave I'll rip your throat out," Patrick growled narrowing his eyes. I decided to stay quiet for now and let Patrick deal with Ty.
Ty held his hands up, "I was just checking on Lara but I can see she's perfectly fine," Ty grinned as he spoke.
"Leave!" Patrick growled again.
"I'm leaving," Ty said, as he turned it looked like he winked at Patrick but I wasn't quite sure. Ty began to close the door and when the door clicked shut I fell back into bed and covered my face with my hands.
"How embarrassing," I said into my hands.
Patrick lightly chuckled and placed a hand on my stomach, "luckily it was just Ty," he said fiddling with the hem of my shirt, sounding like he was concentrated on something else.
I sighed and peeped through my fingers. Patrick was grinning at me, showing off his white teeth. I couldn't help but smile. "So... what do you want to do now?" Patrick asked still fiddling with my shirt. I knew what he wanted to do but I didn't feel up for it anymore.
"Sleep," I simply told him.
He looked over to me and gave me a small smile. "Okay," he quietly said, a hint of disappointment in his voice. He removed his hand from my shirt and got up out of bed. He reached down and retrieved his shirt. He tossed it on his shoulder and made his way out.
"Good night," he said, closing the door.
"Night," I replied back.
The door clicked shut, he couldn't have gotten out fast enough. That made me scrunch my face up, is he really annoyed at me because I didn't want to have sex with him. I shook my head and listened to his footsteps as he made his way downstairs. When I could no longer hear him I rolled over to my side and tried to sleep. Tried being the key word here. There were already loads of things racing through my mind. Now add what happened between me and Patrick. It could drive anyone insane.
I rolled around in bed feeling unsettled. There was no way I could fall asleep. I've been trying for the last hour now! I tried sleeping on my back, side, one leg out, curled up in a ball. I couldn't get comfy enough and when I did something pops up from the back of my mind. Funny how when I want to sleep I can't but whenever I'm at school I can easily fall asleep at my desk.
Feeling frustrated I got up out of bed and grabbed my hoodie. I slung it on and quickly tied my hair up into a messy bun. After that I slowly creeped downstairs. There were a few squeaky steps so I had to try and carefully avoid them, I didn't want to wake anyone up. Especially Patrick and Ty.
When I successfully made it downstairs without waking anyone. I made my way to the kitchen and grabbed a bag of chocolate chip cookies. I also grabbed a can of coke.
With a flick of the light the hallway brightened up so I was able to see my shoes. I slipped the black converse on and set off outside. Cracking open the can I slowly walked through the dark forest.
I munched on some cookies as I weaved through some of the low branches. The forest was much more intense at night, all the animals were out hunting for food so I wasn't alone. The only light I could see was the moon shining down.
