Dylan stepped first and gunshots went off. They knew they were here. A big man came out with a baseball bat covered in barb wire. Behind him was the group bloody and battered.
"I knew you would come back. "
The memories of dawn came back into her brain. She said the exact same thing. She knew they weren't going to be able to negotiate.
"Let them go. "
She glanced at carl in her perfial vision. Dylan stepped up lowered her bow.
"Let them go take me. They did nothing. Give them mercy please. Do one good thing. "
Her eyes pleaded.
"I do everything to keep us safe and you just betray me. "
"I won't do it again if you let them go please. "
Tears welled up in her eyes. Beth couldn't do this. She touched her shoulder.
"I have to. "
"No you don't. "
She looked at her anger and pain filling her face.
"Be well. "
She turned around.
"You know what this means right?"
He laughed menacingly.
A tear fell.
More tears fell.
"More than just a mark. "
She looked to the ground.
"Let them go first. "
He pushed them towards them and carl, Beth, Daryl and Noah helped them. Dylan started to walk. Beth had her weapon aimed. She came close.
"I missed you lil sis. "
He wrapped his hand around her neck and squeezed. A gun shot sounded. Beth shot him in the neck. Beth ran over to get Dylan. She was sob.
"You son of a bitch!"
She grabbed her knife in her hand and stabbed him multiple times in the head out of anger. Beth wrapped her arms around her. The words she spoke made tears fall from Beth's eyes.
"He finally almost killed me. "
