I always thought about how I was going to die. I always hoped it would be peaceful. Maybe in my sleep at an old age. Sometimes I even hoped I'd go out fighting, so I'd be remembered as brave or selfless. But the death I'm about to experience will neither me peaceful or brave it will just be straightforward, painful. "Tobias. This needle contains a serum called death serum. It works on regular people but we want to see if it works on people with powers. As you may have realized we have already given you a serum to numb your powers. We need to hurry before that serum wears out." Jenine says this in a stern voice. Before she put in the needle I take in my surroundings. I'm in a lab with three white walls and one is corrugated iron. The fourth wall is on the side of the building. Just as the needle is about to prick my skin the fourth wall explodes with a fiery explosion. Walking through the fire is the gang. And leading them is tris. My beautiful tris. As im thinking this I feel a slight sting in my neck.
