Consequential Actions: Naruto & Sakura

CHAPTER 1: Their Lives

The day began like any other, the sun rose, birds sang & people were beginning to go to work.

At the Uzumaki household. Naruto & his family are having breakfast, "You doing anything new today Boruto?", Naruto asks. "Konohamaru sensei said he'd teach us new jutsu today." Boruto replies excitedly. "That's great", proudly says Naruto "I know you'll do great"

"Thanks dad", Boruto says. He stands up & shoves the last toast in his mouth & heads for the door, "Bye everyone!" Shouts Boruto with toast in his mouth "Be careful, don't choke on the toast!" Hinata shouts with concern, but Boruto was already gone. "I'm sure big brother will be okay" Himawari says with a cute & happy smile. "Well, I should get going too." Naruto says as he stands up & heads for the door, "Goodbye, daddy! Have a great day!" Shouts Himawari. "Bye Himawari, bye Hinata!" Shouts Naruto.

At the Uchiha household, Sarada is already gone to the Academy & Sasuke is preparing to head out as well "I'm heading out, now." Sasuke says "Wait!" Sakura says "Let me fix you before you go" . Sakura fixes Sasuke's collar & removes some crumbs under his lower lip

"There", She says while smiling

"Thanks Sakura"

Sasuke heads out leaving Sakura alone in the house. She realises that she took the day off & wonders why she did so especially since she doesn't like it when she's not doing anything.. But it was pointless crying about it now, she might as well enjoy it while it lasts.

After a few hours at the Hokage Office, Naruto slaves away doing piles of paper work, Shikamaru walks in

"You look like you could use a break," He says

"I need to finish up this paper work before I go home, if not I'll end up staying for the night", Naruto says

"Yeah but-"

"I'll be fine, Shikamaru"

"If you say so"

Shikamaru walks out. Two minutes later, Naruto hears a knock on the door. "Come in!" Shouts Naruto "Lord Hokage", a Jonin respectively greets Naruto while also bowing down her head

"Yes, how can I help you?", Naruto politely asks

"I've come to deliver this document that needs your signature. It's from the hospital", the Jonin says

"Oh, I see". Naruto reads through the document & notices it also needs Sakura's signature as well. "Hey, I see this also needs Sakura Uchiha's signature", Naruto says. "Yes, that's correct Lord Hokage", the Jonin says respectively. Naruto then realises that it's been a while since she's seen Sakura, that's when an idea comes to his mind

"I assume she's not at work today if her signature is not here & I also see that the document was originally supposed to be presented tomorrow. Go, I'll take this to Sakura myself" Says Naruto

"Are you sure Lord Hokage?" humbly asks

"Yes. Tell the hospital I'll drop by to deliver it if Sakura will not be going to work", He says

"Okay, Lord Hokage. Have a nice day" The Jonin bows her head as she says so

"You too", Naruto responds

Later after Naruto finishes his work, he knocks off, takes the document with him & heads for Sakura's house.

•AT THE TRAINING GROUNDS•

"Shadow Clone Jutsu!" Shouts Boruto. "Let's get him!". "Boruto look out!", Sarada shouts

"What!", Boruto shouts nervously. Konohamaru kicks him hard in the face "Oouuu!" Boruto mumbles with pain

Sarada throws a shuriken from behind, Konohamaru dodges it, before he knew it "Lightning Snake!" Mitsuki shouts. He strikes at Konohamaru & lands a blow only to find out it's a substitution

"Substitution?" Sarada asks herself in confusion

"That's enough for today!", Shouts Konohamaru at a distance

"Sensei, you're supposed to pull your punches!" Boruto shouts angrily

"I did!" Konohamaru shouts abruptly

Konohamaru & his team ended their training session & all head home

•AT SAKURA'S HOUSE•

Naruto arrives at Sakura's house & knocks on the door holding the document in the other hand. "Coming!" Shouts Sakura from inside the house. Sakura opens the door without asking who it was, as soon as she sees who it was she freezes a few seconds.

"Hey, Sakura. It's been a while, Isn't it?", Naruto says while laughing & scratching his head behind
