I'm late. (Y/N) panted, standing out the front of her clubs door. She had been held back in class since her teacher wanted to talk to her about her work. She quietly opened the club room door, taking deep breaths as she saw that the members were all there already. There were only 2 other people in the literature club, since most of the people in the school were more interested in the sports.

"(Y/N)-chan!" Cho waved her over. (Y/N) tensed slightly as she walked over, sitting beside her friend.

"You're late Sugawara." (Y/N) tensed slightly, hearing her last name being called made her feel a little uneasy.

"Sorry Izaka-san! My teacher needed to talk to me about my last test."

"Fail that bad?" Izaka smirked slightly. He was a third year and the leader of the club. (Y/N) shook her head slightly.

"No, I wanted her to clarify some of the questions. Doesn't mean I failed." (Y/N) poked her tongue out to Izaka as she pulled out her newly borrowed book.

"We're not reading today you know." Cho pouted slightly.

"What are we doing?"

"Going back to the library, duh." Cho smiled widely. "Remember?"

(Y/N) thought back to their interaction at lunch before her cheeks warmed slightly. "Right, the library." She placed the book back into her bag before she stood up.

"Where are you two going?" Izaka rose a brow.

"Library, you can come too if you want." (Y/N) smiled softly. The three students made their way to the library, Cho talked to Izaka about new books that are coming out this month. (Y/N) only listened to their conversation. I'm such a third wheel right now...

She walked into the library, leaving her two friends for the fiction section. She was looking for another book for her to read tomorrow morning. She began to scan the familiar titles, trying to find something new that she hadn't read before.

"(Y/N), why don't you try another genre? Like non fiction or something?" (Y/N) had flinched at the sudden appearance of her friend.

"Well uh... Maybe." (Y/N) looked around. "Where is Cho?"

"She's looking at the graphic novels." Izaka smiled,  studying (Y/N). "Found anything you wanna read?"

(Y/N) shook her head slightly. "I might go to the public library tomorrow, get some books delivered or something." She noticed a title, pursing her lips slightly. "Well, nice to know this library has no taste."

Izaka looked to the title, raising a brow. "What-"

(Y/N) picked her least favourite book from the shelf, sighing softly. "This is such trash."

"I liked it-"

"We're no longer friends."

"Wah!" Izaka's eyes widened. The librarian hushed them, the two apologising immediately. "Why do you hate that book so much?"

Her eyes pierced into Izaka's "it's a horrible novel, there was basically no plot and the main character was so infuriatingly dumb and dull." She began. "All of the characters were copies and pastes, the men were all over protective jerks while all the women were badasses who don't need no man but gets one anyways."

"Not only that, but the main character is so horrible, that you can't root for her." (Y/N) huffed "not a lot of people can comprehend the book, and therefore look past all of the flaws."

"Yeah, well, I only read for enjoyment. I don't analyse every book." Izaka rubbed the back of his neck.

"Analysing is the best part in my opinion." (Y/N) looked to her friend, smiling softly. "Hearing everyones different interpretations of the same text is always interesting."

"It's one of the ways that shows how different everyone thinks." (Y/N) tucked a strand of hair behind her ear. Izaka nodded slightly.

"I guess you're right." He shrugged slightly, sliding his hands into his pockets. "You're a nerd you know."

"I am not!" (Y/N) playfully punched her friends shoulder.

He chuckled as he rubbed his arm "you are too! I have never heard someone say they enjoy analysing anything."

(Y/N) pouted slightly, thinking to herself. Am I a nerd? She scratched at her head before she sat down at a table with Izaka, waiting for Cho. Izaka took out a book that was in his bag, beginning to read the first chapter. He was a slow reader in comparison to (Y/N), he always took a week to finish one book, while it only took (Y/N) a few hours. Cho walked over, carrying a few different graphic novels. The three sat together and began to read together in silence. (Y/N) began to read the book Cho had picked out for her.

I have a theory. Hating someone feels disturbingly similar to being in love with them...

(Y/N) walked alongside her younger sister, making their way home. Aika was balancing on the side of the path, as if it were a tightrope. "Nechan, can we have take out for dinner tonight?" (Y/N) was hesitant, but shook her head.

"I'll cook tonight." She continued to walk, thinking to herself. "We'll have to go to the store on the way home."

"But Nechan~" Her sister whined "Can't we have take out?"

"No Aika-chan." (Y/N) gave her sister a light pat on the head. "We can have dessert though."

Aika's eyes brightened. The young girl started bouncing, before bolting into the store. (Y/N) sighed softly, smiling as she followed. Aika was running around, grabbing the ingredients for dinner. "Aika-chan, slow down. You don't even know what we're having-"

"I'm helping!" Aika's smile beamed, as she handed (Y/N) the basket. (Y/N) sighed softly, carrying the basket around as she grabbed some ingredients. Aika held onto the bottom of (Y/N)'s shirt, following her around the store. The two girls walked around the store, grabbing a few things.

"Aika-chan, do you might getting me some chocolate for dessert?" The little girls eyes brightened, and she nodded before bolting for the isle to grab the chocolate. (Y/N) sighed softly, looking for a sauce. Where is it? Her eyes travelled to the top shelf. Of course.

(Y/N) wasn't the shortest person alive, but she was short enough to not be able to reach the top shelf. She pursed her lips, before trying her best to reach for the sauce. Why are these shelves so high up?

"Do you want some help?" A boy offered. (Y/N) shook her head, trying to reach the bottle. "Are you sure?

"I'm fine, thank you." The boy ignored her request, reaching up with ease to grab the bottle of sauce. He handed it to her. (Y/N) huffed softly. "Thank you."

The boy shrugged slightly. (Y/N) looked up at the boy, he wore an Inarizaki uniform and had white hair with black tips. His eyes a dull brown. He's really cute.

"Thank you again." (Y/N) gave a slight bow. The boy was about to say something before Aika ran back, crashing into (Y/N)'s leg.

"I got the chocolate!" The little girl went quiet almost immediately when she saw the boy. She hid her face into (Y/N)'s leg, making her older sisters face warm up in embarrassment.

"See you around." (Y/N) grabbed her sister hand gently, leading the girl to the check out. (Y/N) quickly paid for their shopping before walking out of the store. Aika helped carry a bag, while (Y/N) carried majority of the rest. Who was that?
