Sugawara sighed as he waited at an intersection, fingers tapping the steering wheel.

It was late at night and he had a rough day between handling all the elementary schoolers and getting work done. They are quick and impulsive kids who happened to spill coffee all over his paperwork today.

Of course, Sugawara kept his temper but all he really wanted to do was go home and lay in bed all day. So much so, that he thought that he might as well call in sick tomorrow.

Between all his thoughts, he didn't realize how much he had been pushing the speed limit, racing past cars until he saw the red and blue flickering lights trailing behind him from his rear view mirror.

"Shit.." Sugawara mumbled, pulling over to the side and started searching for his papers

A figure emerged from the dark, taking some steps before knocking on the teachers window lightly, causing Sugawara to jump.

"Ah, sorry there officer..." Sugawara sheepishly said, rolling down his window

"Do you know how fast you were driving?" The man said, leaning down into the window

"No sir.." Sugawara breathed out as some light finally shed against the mans face

He was quite attractive, the silver headed male thought as he glossed over the mans figure.

"Sawamura Daichi..." He quietly mumbled as he read the name tag

"Still, i'm sure you know you were well over the speed limit there." Daichi said

"Yeah... I wasn't all that focused, I just had a bad day at work." Sugawara said

"I'm sure you did." Daichi said, looking around him before back at the other "I'll make you a deal."

"Yes?" Sugawara said

"Focus on the road and don't speed again or else i'll have to take you down into the station. I usually give tickets for speeding this late but if you go on a date with me, i'll reconsider." Daichi smiled

"Am I inclined to say yes because your an officer?" Sugawara joked

"Anything you want to believe in, as long as you go out with me." Daichi said

"Alright... sure Daichi. I'll go on a date with you." Sugawara smiled

Daichi walked into the house, putting his shoes away as he saw his fiancee sleeping on the couch peacefully.

With a light smile he walked over to him, lightly picking him up bridal style.

"Hey sweetheart." Daichi said as he saw the shorter stir awake, kissing him on the cheek lightly

"Hey.. why are you home so late...? I was worried..." Sugawara mumbled

"I had a case that ran a bit too long. I'm sorry for worrying you." Daichi said, walking into their shared bedroom as he softly placed the older down on the bed

"Mmm" Sugawara hummed

"I'm gonna freshen up then come into bed soon with you alright?" Daichi said, hand softly placed on the others cheek
