Origin of Silica

(Warning: Graphic fighting up ahead there will be a bit of blood up ahead so just be warned going further.)

X was heading home from school with his sister like usual until he heard something coming from the back alley across the street as both X and Natsumi look at each other before nodding and heading towards the noise. They arrive at the alley to see Silica getting scolded by her father.

Leo: HOW COULD YOU BE SO WEAK AFTER TIEING TO THAT UNDER LEVELED BRAT?! I RAISED YOU BETTER THAN THAT!" Leo said referring to X. "At least X doesn't go too far in fighting and fights with honor unlike you!" Silica said as her father was about to hit her but before he could X jumps in the way activating his barrier. "So you must be X and I must say I didn't expect you to have such an innocent look for being a demon and all." He said as Silica put her hand on X's shoulder and gives him a worried look. "X don't fight him he is a level 56 with Agro magic which gets him stronger the more he is hit." Silica said as Leo shatters his barrier with one smash. As Leo grabs X by the shirt and pinned him to the wall Natsumi intervened and used her fire magic to distract him. "X and Silica run while he is distracted!" She said as they both listen to her and they run off but Leo knocks Natsumi out of the way and starts to chase them as Silica went towards where her secret tree house was and hoped they would lose him. They arrive at the tree house and seemed to have lost him in the woods as Silica used curtains to block the windows to hide for now. "Silica what's going on why is he so mad at you?" X asked being concerned for her. "My father is a monster and is the reason my mother is gone and doesn't get the fact that I don't want to be like him!" She said being upset and shows him a picture of her mother named Ashley.

"Ok X here is what happened."
(Flashback)
Silica was 4 years old at the time as her family was pretty much at peace with one another never having any conflicts. One day however Leo came home completely drunk and dizzy as Ashley saw this and sighed as she walked over angrily and tries to set him on the couch only to get smacked away by Leo. "I'M FINE ASHLEY DON'T WORRY!" Leo said clearly having to much to drink as Ashley was laying against the wall in pain but still alive as she got up and carried silica to her room before heading back out to Leo and argue loudly and as Silica heard this she snuck down stairs and secretly watched them argue until suddenly something came over Ashley as she actually smacked Leo across the face which was a huge mistake. Leo who was still drunk picks up Ashley by the throat and slams her against the wall viciously as she was definitely in pain now as her head was covered in blood. "Leo......please calm down." Ashley said but Leo wouldn't listen to her as he stepped closer to her. As he was about to strike Silica uses a light barrier to temporarily protect them. "SILICA RUN SWEETI!!!" Ashley said as Leo broke the barrier and as Leo was about to strike Silica, her mother pushed her out of the way and was killed as her lifeless body was on the ground. Leo then snapped out of his drunken state only to then realize what he has done and sees his daughter terrified of her. "S-Silica I-" He was cut of by Silica. "YOU MONSTER! YOU KILLED MAMA!!! I HATE YOU!!!!" Silica shouted with tears in her eyes as she locked herself in her room.
(End of flashback)
"And that's what happened X."
(Meanwhile)
"After that day I became more strict on my daughter so if I ever got drunk like that again she could defend herself." Leo said to Natsumi who sighs and gives him a serious look. "Listen I get what you are going through but doing that to your daughter is only gonna make her hate you more and the best thing you would wanna do is give her some breathing space and stay away from the alcohol." Natsumi said as Leo nods. "You are wise for a kid your age now I gotta find my daughter and bring her home." He said with a small smile.
(Meanwhile)
"Wow I can't believe your own papa would do that to you but is hating him forever really the best option?" X asked looking at her and she glared at him. "Clearly you don't get it-" She was then cut off by X. "MY OLD PARENTS LITERALLY NEGLECTED ME AND YOU DON'T THINK I UNDERSTAND HOW YOU FEEL?!" X asked loudly as Silica snaps out of it and looks at him. "X...." She said as X suddenly hugged her. "You are never alone Silica, I will always be by your side no matter what." X said as Silica had a tear go down her eye as she hugged him back and they go back where the others were. Everyone then went home for the night hoping things would get better soon.
