I grabbed Hakim's green iPhone 5c and picked it up. There were all of my messages and calls gone missed. Where's Hakim?
I walked up to some random guy who was casually chatting with a brunette.
"Have you seen Hakim anywhere?" I asked.
"No." The boy replied.
I started to walk back anxiously.
"Wait!" The girl called out.
I spun around. "Yes?"
"I saw Hakim leave with my friend Marilyn. She's in this class."
"Oh my gosh!" I exclaimed. "Where did they go?"
"She was talking about how she wanted to go to the premiere of 50 Shades of Grey... Check the cinema." She suggested.
"Thanks." I said, heaving a sigh of relief. If he was even there.
I sped walked to the car, checking my watch. 12:54. Damn. I'm late.
I hopped into the car, drumming my fingers on the wheel. I was worried sick. Even though I was annoyed with his antics, I didn't want him to get hurt.
I was glad that I didn't get pulled over by the police because I'm sure I was driving over the speed limit.
I got out and ran to the booth. The lobby was empty.
"One ticket to 50 Shades of Grey please!" I asked, huffing and wheezing.
"It's already started. I can't let you in until the next showing." The guy working the booth replied.
"No please. Please. I'll be in and out. I swear." I begged.
"Please." I said, bending over a little bit showcasing some cleavage. "Please."
He slid the ticket under and I grabbed it and buttoned up my shirt. Smh. The things teenage boys would do these days.
I jogged to the theater and walked in, careful not to shut the door.
❀ Mr. Grey will see you now. ❀
I ignored the movie and scanned every row.
I saw him sitting next to some girl and occasionally asking her questions.
I heaved a sigh of relief. I literally had no strength to go over there and frankly didn't want to cause a scene cause I knew I would have popped off.
"So what's going on now?" I asked Marilyn.
"Stop asking me questions and pay attention." She whispered, tossing a popcorn at me.
"Just tell me what's going on!" I hissed.
"He's about to show her his sex room. Is that enough?" She hissed back.
I flashed her a quick thumbs up sign.
I wondered what Alicia was doing right now. I hope that she didn't try to pick me up. I'd text her.
