(Evan's a kid and gets drop off at Connors house)

Connor's POV
I was in my room listening to music until "Connor you get your ass down here now!" I heard my mom yell normally it's dad the ones yelling I was confused "yeah?" I said coming down the stairs I saw her with a baby at this point I was ultimately confused "you wanna explain this?" She said handing a note
'Connor this is Evan your son please take care of him since I can't and also wouldn't have killed you to see the birth of your son? You are a by far the worst person I've ever met Sincerely, me'
I was confused sure I had a girlfriend but I broke up with her a year ago and we only had sex once I looked up at my mom she had her eyebrow raised "well?" She said "I don't know but there is no way he's my kid" I said she got more angry "well you're gonna take care of him whether you like it or not I'll take you shopping for him tomorrow" mom said handing me my "son" I looked at him well he's cute I took the carrier he had and brought him to my room 'we have Zoes old crib I could use that until we get him one he can use for as long as he is a baby' I thought placing his carrier on my bed I placed him in it and was about to get the crib until he started having a fit I quickly picked him back up "hey hey calm down shh" I try shooting him and rocking back and forth once he finally calmed down I tried putting him down again but he started another fit so I called for Zoe "hey Zoe can you come here?" I asked after a couple of minutes she appeared "what?" She asked I raised Evan a little to show her.
Her eyes got big as she came over to see him "well who's this?" she asked "this is Evan apparently he's my son" I began to explain the situation "wow Connor so you gonna return him?" She asked I pull Evan close to my chest "what no" Zoe giggled at my reaction "can you get your old crib? Evan won't let me put him down" I told her "well why don't I hold him?" She asked holding out her arms to take him I hastily gave him over to her as soon as he get in her arms he threw a fit I instantly took him back and he stop and giggled I smiled at him Zoe sighed "fine" she mumbled leaving my room I looked down at him and booped his nose once I did he sneezed I grabbed a tissue and cleaned him.
As we were waiting for Zoe I started to play with him with my old keychains that seemed to amuse him while I was playing with him he grabbed my finger and for the first time in forever I felt happy like really really happy I wanted to protect him at all costs and hurt whoever hurts him like when you see something cute you just want to hug little until it pops but at the same time you don't want anything to happened to it. I smiled at him and he smiled back giggling that's when Zoe came back pulling in the heavy crib "ugh here you go" she said panting and looked at Evan before going back to her room once I set up his crib I placed him in it getting an old teddy bear from my closet and giving it to him before turning off the lights "goodnight Evan" I said getting into my bed.
I woke up to Evan crying at 4am I groaned getting up I walked over to his crib and picked him up cradling him "shh~" I begin to rock him back and forth trying to get him to sleep when that wasn't working I changed his diaper with the spare my ex put in his carrier but that didn't work I tried feeding him but it didn't work I tried everything but nothing work by the time he went back to sleep it was 6am I sighed putting him back in the crib he looked so peaceful for something that was crying a few minutes ago I sighed going into the kitchen to make coffee "not easy is it" I heard mom say looking at me I groaned getting the coffee beans she laughed getting me some water "thanks" I mumbled pouring it into the coffee pot while she grinded the coffee beans pouring them into the coffee pot before turning it on soon the smell of coffee filled the whole house "so" mom said getting out a pen and paper "what are we gonna need for him?" She asked "clothes, food, diapers, shampoo and soap, crib, toys" I continued as she wrote it down once we made the list it was 7am and we heard Evan crying again I sighed walking back upstairs to my room walking to the crib "hey" I said softly picking him up once he calm down he held onto me yawning I smiled at him walking down the stairs and back onto the kitchen when mom was she smiled at Evan and he hid his face into my neck I snickered sitting down.
Cynthia's POV
When it was 11am we got ready to leave Connor told me to go ahead and start the car he came put of the house carrying Evan and holding his carrier I helped him by opening the door for him he put the carrier in the back buckling Evan in it and closing the door as softly he could then he got in once Connor was buckled in I smiled driving away "you know I've never seen you so happy" I told him he shrugged looking out the window I smiled softly looking back at the road 'maybe Evan coming into our lives was a good thing' I thought stopping at a red light I looked at Evan he was almost back asleep I giggled softly Connor looked at me confused until he looked at Evan smiling I saw something in his eyes for the first time Connor was happy.
Once we got in the store I got a cart putting Evan inside it and gave Connor half of the list "ok so you're gonna get the diapers, food, and toys" he nodded grabbing a basket leaving Evan with me since he wasn't gonna carry him around the store I looked down at Evan as I started moving looking for baby clothes "so you're my grandson huh you know you're nothing like Connor when he was a baby but you two have something in common you both cry a lot" I told him finding the clothes i ended up getting him seven different day clothes, seven different pjs, and a pair of shoes "now just a lot more to go" I said looking at the list "I don't remember baby's being this expensive" I mumbled.
Connor's POV
I got the baby food I didn't know what to get so I just got a little bit of everything not the entire section but enough to last a week or two and I got the diapers now it's just the toys left I mostly got him some plush toys since I didn't want him hurting himself I got a fake key set and a few teething toys since I think he's around that time to start teething and a pacifier I found mom at the check out smiling when I saw Evan and put my stuff in the cart "ok so we got everything right?" She asked as I picked up Evan "yeah that should be everything" I said looking over the stuff she nodded that's when Evan pointed to something "what is it?" I asked looking over to where he was pointing it was a nature book I went over to it and picked it up "is this what you want?" I asked he smiled and nodded I smiled at him and walked back to the cart placing it inside mom looked at me I shrugged.
Once we got home it started to set up his stuff in my room I didn't have much stuff so I was happy to gave the extra space to Evan all I had was my bed bedside table and a small cabinet for my CDs and CD player it took a few hours but the nursery was complete I put Evan down for a nap sighing once I sat down on the couch for the first time today "hard work isn't it" Mom said sitting next to me turning on some random show I nodded wacthing the trashy show I felt my eyelids become heavy and soon fell asleep.
