tessa's pov:

"One day until the freaking tour. I'm freaking out." I say to Cara who's trying to calm me down.

"I'm glad to be doing it with my girls though." Cara smiles and we all hug each other. I don't even want to think about where we'd be if it weren't for all of us. For One Direction, for those horrible idiots in hotel room across from us.

There's a surprising knock on the door, and as Cara answers it, Luke, Calum and the guy with the red hair stand there, I still don't know his name.

Luke greets Cara with a friendly smile and he has a piece of paper in his hand.

"Here's your song." Luke hands me the paper and everyone gives him the same look.

"Cara and I wrote it, that's what we were talking about." Luke says, doing air quotes in the air. He ruffles with his flannel shirt.

"You and Cara wrote together?" Laura asks him sternly and Luke nods.

The red haired guy turns to him.
"Care to explain this Luke?"

"Just because I wrote a song with her doesn't mean we're together." Luke says, biting on a red skittle.

Calum takes them from his pocket and shoves all of them into his mouth. They actually were quite amusing.

"But you like her." Calum says and Luke slaps him.

"Who cares anyway?" Luke asks.

"I do," I reply back to him and he walks up to me, towering over me.

"I must be going." Luke says, snatching the paper from me and placing it in Cara's hands.

"We'll talk later." He whispers to her, leading his gang out the door.

I glance over at Cara and the other girls, they're all asleep. Maybe I could snoop.

I tip toe to Cara's bed, where the song is laying crumpled on her hand, I wanna see how good this jerkass is at writing.

I shakily grab the paper and dart to the bathroom.

I open it, and its written in disgustingly messy writing.

Dear Cara,
Your song is on the other side by the way.

I flip it over, and it is.

I continue reading.

Okay, so I'm sorry for the way I treated you when we first met. I just saw Carrie in you. Everything you said and did related to her, and it was so hard to get her off my mind, I guess I felt a little scared and was confused about my emotions a little bit.
But anyway, in case you haven't figured it out yet; I like you, Cara. A lot.
You helped me realize that one person shouldn't take over and control your mind. The first time I saw you, I was like wow she's so gorgeous. And its so wrong, because we're in fighting bands, and I'm your freaking best friend's brother. But anyway, I wanted to tell you this to say how much you mean to me.

Yours, Luke.

I crumple up the paper as I see what's written on the backside.

That little son of a bitch.
