Michael: CALUM.

Calum: Michael.

Michael: I AM SO HAPPY. COME OVER. COME SEE HOW HAPPY I AM. I CAN'T HANDLE THE MADNESS.

----

Calum smiled to himself, getting off his bed and throwing on a t-shirt. He was overjoyed to know that Michael was happy. Michael hasn't been this happy since...he couldn't even remember it's been that long. He comes across as a happy person, but he wasn't. Michael struggled with so much insecurity and self-hatred, that it could get dangerous if he really let it.

He nearly sprinted to Michael's house, eager to see his best friend happy again. "Michael! Open up! I want to control the madness!"

Michael opened the door within seconds, the biggest smile on his face. "Hello, Cally."

"Hug me. I know that's what you want to do," Calum said, throwing out his arms as Michael wrapped his arms around him and nearly squeezed him to death.

"He likes me! Calum, he likes me! A boy. Calum! He's a human boy that's sexy as hell and he likes me!" Michael squealed into Calum's shirt, causing a smile to spread across the Kiwi boy's face.

"Yeah, he does," Cal answered.

Michael looked up at him, his green eyes bright and full of life. "Does he know I like him?"

"No..." Calum trailed, causing his smile to falter a bit.

"Can you tell him?! Please, Calum," Michael begged.

"I've tried but he doesn't believe me. Why don't you try? He might believe you," he suggested, getting a very eager 'no' from his best friend.

"No...what if we're wrong?" Michael asked, his excitement quickly turning into horrified.
