A few hours ago:

Maggie's POV:

Just when I thought this day couldn't get any worse.... She showed up. She walked in wearing a short, and I mean really short, baby blue dress and her red hair pulled into a bun, her brown eyes lined with eyeliner and mascara. "Scarlett?" I asked. She smirked at me. "Hello again, Maggie."

"You're with them?!" She nodded.

"Why?" I questioned. She crossed her pale arms across her chest. "Why not?" She frowned.

"You were my friend.... I don't understand...." She walked up to me and slapped me right across the face. I held my flaming cheek. "You left me, don't act like you're innocent, Maggie."

"L-Left you? How did I leave you?"

"Don't play dumb. You know exactly what I'm talking about."

"I don't! I don't know what the hell you're talking about!"

"Tch, let me enlighten you then."

I nodded.

"You completely abandoned me... For Peter." She spat his name out like a poison. "You completely ignored me! Avoided me! I did nothing to you!" She suddenly pulls out a gun from a strap on her thigh and aims it directly at my head. "Harry found me one day, crying, alone, the time I needed you the most... My step father and mother died in a car accident. My mother was pregnant.... She just found out about it," her voice cracks and she sniffles. "No one in my family would take me in... No matter what I did or tried to say, they abandoned me. Harry took me in though. He gave me a place to stay, food to eat, something to hold on to... A family. I met Otto and Curtis a few weeks after Harry took me in," she explained. "They cared for me... Treated me with such love and support, I didn't want anything else."

Harry sluggishly walks over to us and puts an arm around her waist, giving her a light squeeze, and giggling at her blush.

The way she looks at him.... No. It can't be....

He leans over and whispers something in her ear. She blushes even more.

She's in love with Harry.

Scarlett still has her gun aimed at me. People around us are either too drunk or too busy grinding against each other to notice.

Scarlett puts her finger on the trigger. Harry squeezes her encouragingly.

"Woah woah, wait a second," Curtis suddenly cuts in. "Killing her wasn't part of the plan! We were just going to use her as bait, remember?" He stands between me and the gun.

"Change of plans then." Scarlett said, monotonous.

"No! I won't let you! You'll ruin the entire pla-" Scarlett pulls the trigger.

{HAYO! Here's the preview of Sorcery as I promised. Love you guys!

It was just a normal day. There wasn't a little sticky note attached to my forehead that said, "Oh hey, by the way, you might die today if you do something wrong! No pressure! Have a great day!" No warning. Nothing.

You can't really predict something like that. The only warning I really had was my crappy instincts. And for once in my freaking life, I should have listened to them. My name is Scarlett Rayne, and I am such a dumbass sometimes. Okay, let's start from the beginning, shall we?

When I was five years old, I ran away from home after an arguement with my parents. As I walked down the streets of New York, dead leaves crunching under my sneakers, my dad had come looking for me. "Scarlett? Scarley! Honey?!" My dad called as he roamed the streets searching.

Then it happened.

A loud bang came from far away - that means one thing: Someone was shot. I turned my head to where the loud sound came from. People started screaming, and I walked towards the group that had crowded around something a few yards away from me.

I pushed my way through the crowd to the front. My eyes widen and began filling with tears and my mouth hung open. "Daddy!" I ran to his side. I grabbed his hand and squeezed it tightly. "I'm so sorry, Daddy!" Tears openly fell down my cheeks and onto the cold pavement. He looked up into my teary eyes and whispered, "I love you." And then his eyes closed and he wasn't breathing anymore.

"NO! No, Daddy! Daddy wake up! Please!" I cried harder. "I won't leave ever again if you will just wake up! Daddy!" I wailed, but it was too late. His hand was still warm but the blood was slowly draining out of his face and he was getting paler and paler by the minute. As I watched his face get paler, I knew there was no way I was getting my father back.

When help arrived there was nothing they could do. My father had died in my hands and I would never see him again.

I cried while writing the death scene, btw. XD}
