"Harry!" I exclaim enveloping him into a hug. Ashton stands impatiently at my side.

"Little man," Ashton says hugging Harry. "How are you feeling?"

"Like death. As Kasey would say," I smile at his pun sitting in a nearby chair. "Where's Michael?"

"We tried to get him back here, but they said no one but family," I explain. "But Michael isn't going anywhere. He's the one who carried you in here. He will be the one walking you out."

Ashton nods to add reassurance. I remember the day Michael asked me to marry him before it all happened, Ashton gave him a nod. For reasons, I can not explain, until now.

Ashton was telling him it was okay. That he had Ashton's permission to ask me.

"Thank you," I mumbled looking over at Ashton.

"For what?" he questions.

"For giving me the ability to take a step forward into the scary place we call life," I reply playing with my engagement ring.

"Don't thank me," Ashton says. He gives me an understanding glance before looking back at our brother.

"I'm going to talk to a doctor," I whisper to Ashton before exiting the room. It didn't take long for me to find Harry's doctor.

"Miss Irwin. How are you, dear?"

"I'm okay Dr. Kay, I just want to know if my little brother is okay."

"Your brother is a fighter, Miss Irwin. He is remarkable." She tells me. "But something caused the throwing up of blood, we don't quite know what."

"Did he have internal bleeding anywhere?" I question running my hand through my hair.

"Not that we detected." She replied looking down at her clipboard. "What caused the blood is what makes him so remarkable."

"I don't understand," I tell her sighing.

"Kasey, go be with your brother, And your future husband can go back also. Harry may not recover. I'm not sure. I can't give you my word that he will or he won't." With that, she left.

"Michael?" I breathe out. I turn the opposite way I was going and take off down the hallway. "Michael!"

"Kasey! Are you okay?" he questions taking me into his arms.

"Michael, he-"

"Shh. It's okay. Let's go see him," he tells me cutting me off. He grabs my hand pulling me down the hallway.

When I was a child, back before my father had left, I was a really curious kid. But I would go to ask my father something and be too afraid to even ask. Afraid of the answers. Afraid.

I guess that's why sitting in front of Calum, now. I can't ask the question that made me come here in the first place.

"Well isn't this a surprise," Calum says taking a seat in front of me. I breathe out the breath I didn't even know I was holding.

"Did you hurt my brother in any way before you came in here?" I question. He looks at me before laughing.

"Which one?"

"Oh, Sweetheart. This must be so hard for you. Almost losing your family." he says, "You finally know how it feels."

"You have a family!" I exclaim.

"Not anymore," he replies. "Ever since your brother was in that coma."

"Well, you tried to kill my brother." I mumble. "you're going to be hated by many people Calum."

"Do you hate me?" he asks.

"Do I hate you?" I mumble. I look him up and down. Did I hate him?

"No," I answer. He looks at me in shock.

"Wow," he mumbles. "You really are going crazy, Kasey."

"I just want to know if you had anything to do with Harry."

"Yes," he replies. "I may have had something to do with your brother."

"What the hell did you do and how?" I demand.

"You really need to calm down, Love." he tells me.

"And you really need to open your mouth, now," I reply.

"You know what I did. I did almost a month ago," he says looking at me unsure. "I planted something in the fridge the day I came to your house."

"What did you plant, Calum?" I say sternly.

"Something I knew he couldn't resist." he paused looking at me. "Pudding."

"You didn't," I reply. Everything in my body was telling me to lay him out on the floor. But there is no way I am spending the night in this place.

"I did," he says. "But I am not proud of that."

"Then tell me why the hell you put this-" I paused looking at him. "Wait. What the hell did you put in the pudding?"

"Anti-freeze," Calum tells me. I looked at him with disgust. "And.. battery acid. Only a little."

"You better be happy that I can't hurt you, cause I want to kill your ass." I spat.

"Kasey. It wasn't meant for him."

"What do you mean?" I ask. "Who was it meant for?"

"Michael," he says. "Or Luke never was it in my mind for Harry or you, or anyone else."

"You know what Calum? I give you points for your honesty.." I paused looking at him one last time.

"But I change my mind, I do hate you, Calum Thomas Hood. Rot in hell,"
