Trying to fit all this information into my crowded and childish seven year old brain, I let out a surprised high pitched yelp.
As if knowing my reacation, my mother laid her proud gaze on me.
"Baby, its okay."
"But.....isnt that, like, illegal, or something?"
A thousand questions zoomed in and out through my mind and before I could grasp one, my Mom interrupted my quizzicalness.
Amusement danced in my moms eyes.
"No, Honey. But that doesn't mean we, or you, can tell the whole world. It's our little secret."
She smiles down at me.
My self quizzicalness started functioning it's gears again.
"Whats an Or-a-cl-e?"
I sounded out the letters very slowly, and let the unfamiliar word roll of my toungue.
"An Oracle is a person who, from time to time, is abducted by a musical spirit, that tells prophecies, usually leading into the future."
I look at her with confusion sketched on my face.
I thought sarcastically.
"Whats a prophecy?"
I felt pretty dumb asking all these questions, and was overcome with a sudden wariness.
I zoomed in and out of consciousness, until my Mothers voice was blurred into the background.
My eyes turned a shiny black and I felt myself, being drifted farther and farther away from my body.
I could feel myself saying things, but I could not stop it.
In a deep and scratchy voice that was not mine, the strange spirit inside me changed;
"The kin of your kin
The son of destruction
The daughter of creation
The world will fall
One will survive
And one will
