PROLOGUE
"I like you, Baek."
"H-Hah?"
"Bingi ka ba? I said, I like you."
"Oh my God, Chanyeol."
"Oh, ba't ka umiiyak diyan?"
"Y-You like me?"
"Yes, nakakaiyak ba 'yun?"
"Jerk! Of course! I never thought you'd like me back!"
"Come here, Baek. Promise me you won't tell anyone about us, okay?"
"H-Hah? Bakit naman?"
"Just don't."
Napadilat ako at napamasahe sa noo ko dahil masakit ito. I groaned and took a look at the digital clock placed on the top of my side table, it's three in the morning.
I tried to sleep again pero hindi ko magawa, binalot ko nalang ang sarili ko sa comforter pero lumulusot parin ang hangin sa akin, it made me shiver as if someone's hugging me right now.
Nakakakilabot.
Maya maya ay bumukas ang pinto ng kwarto ko at pumasok ang isang babae. She was wearing her all white outfit with a tray on her hand.
"Did I wake you up, Mr Park?" Tinignan niya ang wrist watch niya at tinignan ako ulit. "Or something terrible happened in your sleep?"
Umiling iling ako at naalala ang lalaking nasa panaginip ko. Muli na naman akong kinilabutan, at the moment his smile was flashing back through my dream---nightmare, parang may gusto siyang sabihin sa akin na hindi ko magawang malaman.
"N-No."
"Good, it's time to take your medicine."
"At this early?" Angal ko at tinignan siya ng masama.
"Just take your medicine, Mr Park." She gave me a small white tablet and asked me to drink it, she offered a water, too.
Nang umalis na siya ay napalinga ako sa malaking bintana, it was a cold night when that weird nightmare happened to visit me.
