August 2023
I happily got off the plane and rushed through passport check as well as baggage pick up. The moment I had seen my suitcase I had quite literally run to pick it up and rushed out in the arrivals hall.
I'd only be staying for the month being, but it was more than enough for me. I eagerly looked around the airport, he promised he would come pick me up. Sure enough, it didn't last long before I saw someone hold a big sign in bright pink paper with the name 'Ji' written across it.
I let out a small laugh at the sight before deciding to sneak up on him as he stood there and eagerly looked around. Somehow I managed to sneak with a family, who didn't notice me. Somehow he didn't see me before I stood still beside him.
"So... who's Ji?" I questioned making him immediately turn to me with a small gasp and immediately drop the sign to the ground, "Well... that's not very nice towards the cleaning staff, don't you think?"
He didn't reply he just quickly pulled me in for a tight hug, making me immediately let go of my suitcase and hug him back.
"You sure you only want to stay for a month?" he questioned and I nodded with a small hum, "I want you to stay for longer."
"As of now, it's the best that I only come on short terms," I reminded him with a smile as I pulled away from him and grabbed my suitcase as he picked up his sign and wrapped his arm around my waist.
"But why?" he questioned with a small smile, "I seem to forget bad excuses."
"Because... you're still promoting a few times a year and I'm a distraction," I cockily excused as he let out a small laugh.
"But... my favorite distraction," he pointed out and guided me out to the fresh air of Jeju and helped me to the car to put my suitcase in the trunk before getting into the car himself as I joined him in the passenger seat, "so what now? You finished high school. Are you gonna begin training again?"
"Nah," I shook my head at him and scrunched up my nose as I watched the scenery pass me, "currently doing some work for red cross."
"Really?" he questioned and I hummed at him with a small nod, "what work?"
"I'm currently in charge of registering donations," I replied, "they plan on letting me go to one of the places we're currently helping out the most at the moment. Go down to meet everyone who's doing an effort with the money we're gathering."
"It's not... a dangerous place, is it?" he hesitantly spoke and I shook my head at him.
"It's currently a peace zone I'll be visiting," I assured him, "they will not be sending me anywhere else but the peace zone... you don't want me going, do you?" I questioned after having realized how his face immediately had changed.
"I'm not a fan, I have to be honest," he admitted as he stopped the car by the beachhouse.
"It's first in March," I assured him and leaned over to peek his cheek before getting out of the car with him following after me as I grabbed my suitcase, "besides... it's a long time till I have to go. I might come here for Christmas so we'll see each other once more before I have to go."
"You promise to come, right?" he questioned as he unlocked the door for me.
"Of course," I nodded and followed him into the beachhouse, where his suitcase already stood waiting to get unpacked.
I immediately went over and placed my suitcase down beside his before feeling two arms wrap around me from behind as Jungwon placed his face in the crook of my neck before letting out a small hum.
"I missed you," he muttered making me let out a small laugh at him.
"I missed you too," I assured him, "but I watch you everytime you have a comeback. Every stage, every single piece of content."
"You do?" he questioned and I hummed before he tightened his grip around my waist, "every single one?"
"You have no idea," I let out a small laugh, "there's so much to keep up on, and I still keep finding interviews from your debut days that I haven't seen yet. It's terrible."
"Why would you have to watch all that when you can just come visit me and see me for free in real life?" he questioned with a small smile.
"You are aware that it is cheaper for me to just watch all that content instead of flying here, right?" I let out a small laugh making him sigh at me.
"But won't you rather see me?" he questioned me.
"Of course," I nodded at him making him gently turn me around in his arms.
"Do you think you'll ever move here?" he questioned, making me just shrug, "I'm a good reason am I not?"
"Of course you are," I nodded at him, "but I think I'll wait till I get moved here by whatever job I end up with. All job interviews I've been to have been talking about moving me here because I'm fluent so... with time, maybe."
"Or... we could just get you a visa, one we'll hopefully both like," he smirked slightly at me.
"I'm gonna need clarification for that one," I commented with a small laugh.
"I'm talking about a marriage visa," he casually shrugged, "I mean... it should be relatively easy once you already have the official papers."
"We're 20," I let out a small laugh at him.
"And there is an office just about a ten minutes drive from here, where we can sign the papers," he smiled down at me.
"I'll repeat myself once more... we're 20," I reminded him, "for me I'm still 19... I'm still a teenager, we both are."
"I just thought... maybe we could do something to see each other more often," he muttered making me let out a small smile at him.
"Okay... I tell you what," I stated and he immediately looked up at me, "lets say... what is it? Another six months and I'll agree to us doing it."
"We have to pass our birthdays," he stated and I nodded at him, "but then we're doing it right away."
"You really are that desperate?" I questioned in amusement and he eagerly nodded at me.
"You have no idea how long I've waited for you to live with me," he pointed out.
"Something tells me about three years," I smugly replied making him sigh at me.
"You know what I meant," he complained and I just nodded in agreement.
"Of course I did," I assured him.
"Now... I haven't gotten a kiss yet," he reminded and I let out a small laugh before stepping up on my toes and pecking his lips, making him immediately lay a hand on my nape to pull me in closer as his other arm tightened around my waist, "I've missed that feeling," he breathed out as he pulled away from me.
"You have no idea," I grinned up at him before he pulled me in for a tight hug.
"Just another six months and you're not getting away from me... ever," he stated and I let out a small laugh at him.

November 18, 2023
The female contestant from the first season of I-Land was later known to be dating Enhypen member Yang Jungwon, through several years.
She has this Friday been confirmed dead by her brother after a long silence came from both Yang Jungwon and Enhypen themselves.
Choi Jiseok, Choi Jiyeon's brother, revealed in a post on her own social media that the young girl has passed away from a two months sickness with a severe case of pneumonia, that started back in September this year.
"My sister's always had a really weak immunesystem since we were quite young, so once she got sick we all knew it was very serious in her case. The past two months have been in and out of the hospital for her, where she in the end laid with a breathing machine for the last two weeks of her life."
The official date of the passing has yet to be revealed, but her brother has asked for respect towards him and his family as well as everyone Choi Jiyeon had ever made an impression on.
