Chanced upon two naked forms entwined amidst the hay.
For Tamsin loved the farmer's son more than her own sweet life
And Tom Oatley loved her back and vowed he'd take her for his wife.
When news of this encounter reached the ears of Gypsy Jack
The air rang with his curses, his countenance was black.
He swore a sacred oath that if it cost his own last breath
Tom Oatley would, like his cousin, be pummelled near to death.
