Chapter 7

"Hi" Regina said to all the girls, but she couldn't help to notice that Leila was still glaring at her. A few minutes passed and Regina became really close friends with the girls, specially with Angela and Sophie,
"I'm going to the bathroom" Angela said and then she left, after a minute or so a football ball almost hit a Sophie , and she screamed
"Sorry" the jock said
"I see that your aim is still horrible" Regina told Jack while throwing the ball back at him and smiling
"And still, I'm the team co captain" he pointed out while catching the ball and smiling back
"You two know each other?" Leila asked, it was the first time Regina had heard her talk since she arrived
"Of course we do" Jack said "she knows me better than I know myself"
"Jack is my boy best friend" Regina said to the girls
" Are you two dating?" Sophie asked
Jack and Regina stared at each other for a second and then they started laughing
"No" they both said at the same time
"We're just friends" Regina said
A jock appeared behind Jack
"Dude, coach Wagner is getting mad because you are flirting with the cheerleaders" Damon said, then he noticed Regina "and the new girl"
"Hey!" Regina said offended
Damon winked at her playfully
Regina rolled her eyes "didn't coach Wagner told you to go back? Like now" she said
"Practice is almost over" he said he was about to sit on the grass when coach Wagner yelled
"Jones, Mckinley come back here!"
"Damon McKinley, coach is calling you" Angela said behind Regina
Damon smiled at her and he was about to say something but Jack pulled him
"Coming" Jack yelled back at the coach
"Leave me alone" Damon said and pushed Jack, Jack pushed back and they punched each other playfully
The girls started to tease Regina with Jack and Damon
"You like him don't you?" Sophie asked Regina
"Eww, no" she answered
"Okay, but if you had to choose between Jack and Damon ,who would you choose?" Angela asked her
Regina thought for a while "Jack" she said but before the girls could say anything she said " but not because I like him, but because he's my closest friend in the world and I've known him longer that Damon"

Regina arrived home with Josh
"We're home!" Josh yelled
"Ouch" Regina said covering her right ear
Josh smiled at her and then they went to Josh's room to do the homework. someone knocked the door
"Come in" Regina said
Robert entered the room "food's ready" he said
"Thanks Robbie" Regina said and Robert smiled
They went to eat and then her aunt asked Regina
"How was your first day of school?"
"It was something....new" Regina answered and took a bite of her pasta
"Did you make any friends?" Her uncle asked her
"She became friends with Angela and Sophie" Josh said before taking a sip of his water
"Sophie!!" Robert almost choked
"Ummm... yeah why?" Regina asked him
"Robert has a crush on Sophie since he met her" Josh said
"Not true" Robert said in a defensive tone and Regina laughed
"Robbie, there's nothing wrong on having a crush" she says "she's a pretty girl, and I bet that if you ask her to watch a movie with you, she'll accept" Robert's face lightened up
"You really think that?" He asked
"Absolutely" Regina answers
