"But now it's time to get started on those chocolates!"

Tendou just shrugged and said: "Did you forget we need to eat breakfast first? Why else did we go to the store?"

"Oh. Right." You said sheepishly. "I did forget."

"How is that even possible? We were in the store picking out onigiri not ten minutes ago!" He laughed as he took off his shoes and took the grocery bags to the kitchen.

As you exchanged your shoes for your slippers, you watched his back and couldn't help but think that he seemed so much more comfortable than the first time he had come to your house.

You darted after him and engaged in your usual, teasing banter as he set out the onigiri on the table. Your onigiri sampling went like one would expect, finding a few new flavors that were unexpectedly good. Some were just as you had feared though and you mentally patted yourself on the back for staying away from them for all these years.

It wasn't long before you had cleared the remains of breakfast off the table and the chocolate and tools made their entrance.

"Tadaah!" You exclaimed as you proudly put the heavy cardboard box with all the washed tools on the table.

"Well, if there's ever a chocolate emergency we'll be well prepared. How many kilos even is that?" Tendou asked, his tone somewhere between mocking and impressed.

"I got three. And some small amounts of white and milk chocolate as well." You answered his question and as you heard yourself say the words you realized that you had probably gone way overboard.

"We won't have to worry about messing up a few times at least, so there's that. What are these?" Tendou said as he rummaged through the box.

"The molds. I bought a bunch of different ones since I had no idea what kind you would like." You said, feeling proud for some reason.

"Well, the flowers are out, that's for sure." He said as he put the offending molds to the right of the box. The next mold was put on the left side of the box. "The animals are cute, they're in. Oh! Doraemon?! These are definitely in!"

He continued for a few minutes sorting the molds and you found it cute how he was taking this so seriously. Once he was satisfied with his selection he handed you the molds that had made it.

"Now you pick out your favorites. How many will we need?" He asked, but interrupted before you could say something in return. "Then again, we have this mountain of chocolate, we could just make them all, right?"

"Right. Now get that big thing out of the box and plug it in over there." You ordered him and tried to point to where you meant, which was difficult with your arms full of plastic and silicone molds.

"Wait, you bought a... What even is this? A chocolate-making machine?" Tendou wondered aloud as he lifted a smaller box out of the big one and put it on the table.

"It's to melt the chocolate, it should make it easier to temper it since it won't overheat the chocolate. It was imported from Belgium!" You explained as you went through the kitchen cabinets to find a scale.

As you were rummaging, you heard Tendou unpack the appliance and laugh.

Curious to find out what was so funny you lifted your head from the drawer you were currently looking through. "What's so funny?"

"You said it was imported from Belgium right?" He asked and you nodded. "Here's another fun fact we can add to our presentation: Belgium has different electrical outlets from Japan."

He stood there waving the electrical cord of the machine in your direction. "Unless you have an adapter, the machine is out."

An unattractive groan left your mouth as you slumped down and leaned on the kitchen counter. "You have got to be kidding me!"
