Chapter 1: The Shifters

2 years after the prologue

A boy stood next to commander Magath, they were watching the Armored, Female, Jaw and Beast titans battle human soldiers. He had (H/C) hair and (E/C) eyes, he wore raggedy clothes half of the time rather than uniforms. His name was (Y/N) Tybur. In his eyes the battle was a slaughter and completely unfair, but to anyone else in Marley it is another victory. Next to the boy was a girl named Pieck, she had long black hair and was relatively short. The boy had noticed she always had bags under her eyes but he never decided to pry her for an answer. Pieck was used only at the start of the battle but she retreated and met up with commander Magath. (Y/N) was there for backup if anything went south. He looked up to commander Magath.

"Now?" (Y/N) asked.

"Wait," Magath ordered.

Just then the Armored titans arm was shot off. The boy's eyes widened. They brought out the anti titan guns. Pieck gasped a bit, this was the first time she saw the armored titan damaged. Another shot rang out and hit the Jaw titan in the head. It fell down and started steaming.

"Marcel's down again," (Y/N) said with a sigh.

"Pieck, retrieve him," Magath ordered. (Y/N) handed Pieck a knife and wished her luck. Pieck jumped off the cliff and sliced her hand. A bright yellow lightning bolt came from the sky and hit her. The cart titan ran towards the Jaw titans body. Another cannon sounded and hit the armored titan in the neck, he fell down.

"What about now sir?" (Y/N) asked eagerly. Magath grunted and shook his head. The female titan ran after the tower that had the cannons on it, she dodged two shots before her left arm was hit. She then kicked the tower which sent the cannons flying. However there was another tower and it had shot her neck. She fell down. The boy noticed that the cart titan retrieved Marcel and Reiner. (Y/N) gave into his eagerness and sliced his hand.

The beast and cart titan fell back when they heard the lightning. As the steam and smoke cleared, moonlight shone on the white figure. The warhammer titan stood fifteen meters tall. A cannon fired at the titan and it dodged the shot. He covered the cart titan as it went to retrieve Annie from the female titans carcass. He created a shield with his left arm and ran with the cart titan. The beast titan ran behind the warhammer titan and picked up a large rock. He crumbled it in his large hands and pulled his arm back. The warhammer titan noticed this and bent down as the beast titan threw the small rocks at the towers. The rocks acted as bullets and killed many soldiers. The warhammer titan titan stood back up and just barely blocked an anti titan round. The cart titan picked up Annie and nudged the warhammer titans leg signalling its success.

The warhammer titan made a crossbow with his right hands. He rotated the shield so it was horizontal and aimed the crossbow at the bottom of the last tower and shot it down. He then started walking backward and let the humans fight it out. The Beast, Cart and Warhammer titan all went to commander magath and their shifters came out. (Y/N) ran over to the cart titans carcass and supported Pieck. Reiner, Marcel and Annie jumped off the cart titan. Even though they were all eleven to twelve they gave mean glares at (Y/N). Marcel walked to (Y/N) first.

Zeke Yeager was an imposing man. He was smart and well built. He possessed the beast titan. This form of the beast titan was a monkey with long arms and brown fur, to Marley the beast titan had been useless. Zeke had made the titan useful again with his accuracy and wits. Zeke had blond hair which connects down to a beard. Long arms and legs but he definitely wasn't a twig.

Annie Leonhart was a beautiful girl. She was extremely capable in combat and a very strong shifter. She possessed the female titan. Annie's female titan resembles her closely with the blond hair and blue eyes. The female titan was a strong addition to the Marley military when Annie inherited it. Annie had blond hair that was kept messily in a bun, her blue eyes were very pretty to most people.
