hi hello! thank you for choosing to read 'what you caused' ;)

before we get started i just want to put it out there that this book is a SLOWBURN, i'm warning you right now that it is very, very, VERY slow, like testing your patience, absolutely AGONISINGLY SLOW but in my opinion it is very worth it, i adore slowburn stories with all my heart so i hope you will too!

also just a heads up that the main characters in this book are flawed, they are not perfect at all. lucas is a major dickhead at the start of the book, he's really fucking annoying but i promise that he goes through MAJOR character development so just wait on that please!! isabella is not perfect either so please keep that in mind as you're reading :) x

ALSO THE STORY IS SO SO SO SO CRINGEY AT THE START OMFG but i promise that it does get better!!

(literally be aware of all the british slander at the beginning of the book, i'm not sure why me, a british person, was being so salty towards britain...i promise it stops after a couple of chapters -.-)

ALSO this book is my first ever wattpad book (if you exclude the fanfics i wrote when i was 12, we don't talk about that shush) so by no means will it be perfect but i still love this story nonetheless, cringey scenes and all. (p.s if i make any mistakes on any of the spanish dialogue i apologise! please don't hesitate to correct me!)

my story also isn't to like spread the message that 'oH iF bOyS bUlLy YoU iT mEaNs tHeY LiKe yOu' because i am not trying to normalise that at all & because most of the time in real life this isn't the case. just please keep in mind that this story is fiction. also in real life, this message is literally used just to excuse poor behaviour (especially in the case if the boy is actually physically hurting little girl) and that is mf gross.

this story is to show the consequences of this saying and why this 'theory' should change and why boys should not be taught this etc so yeah i just wanted to clarify this :)
