𝐢𝐯. Island

"An island! Weʼre approaching an island!"

Suddenly, a crew member that was on the crowʼs nest shouted. The others cheered while it left you confused. Thatch had left you with Jozu as he needed to prepare some lunch boxes for the crew members that will check the island. You looked up at the huge man beside you as he tried to smile to ease you up around him. You couldn't see the island clearly, so the big man carried you on his shoulders.

So this is what a big island looked like. You thought, comparing the small, deserted island that you have once lived in and the island that the ship was going to approach. Soon the Moby Dick had reached the shore and dropped the anchor. You looked at Thatch who was giving out the lunches to the crew members and one of them are Marco and Izo. You poked Jozuʼs head and asked him if you could get down. You ran towards Izo and asked the man if you could come with him.

All of them was surprised. You found yourself trusting that man more than the others nor even the captain. Thatch handed you a lunch box and smiled, he ruffled your hair after and stood up. "Well then, be careful." Izo took your hand and went out the ship and to the sandy ground. Thatch had also handed you a backpack so you could put your lunch box inside it.

"Iʼm going to hunt for food, yoi." Marco said, his arms turning into wings. You stared in amazement as he started flying through the sky. The rest went to different directions and soon, you were left with Izo. The both of you started walking until you reached a certain part where there are a lot of people walking and chatting and stalls placed by the side walk, selling goods to people. You looked around in complete awe. You have never seen these people before but they looked happy.

After a while of walking around, a food stall had caught your eye. They were selling a dessert that looked like an apple coated with melted sugar sticked onto a skewer. Izo stopped walking and so as you. You turned to the commander, wondering why he stopped.

"I guess this is a perfect place to buy you some necessary items. Anything you want before we head to a clothing store?" He asked as he looked down at you. You pointed at the stall selling the dessert that you wanted with a smile. He smiled back at you and headed to the food stall.

As soon as he paid, he handed you the dessert and proceeded to buy other things. After an hour or two, the both of you found a park nearby the place. You decided to eat the lunch that Thatch made, your eyes sparkling in delight as you taste the cookʼs dish once again. Izo joined you and was about to take a bite when he spotted the familiar flaming bird.

Marco turned to his human form once he landed safely. He joined the both of you, taking out his own lunch box. After eating, you felt thirsty. But you couldnʼt bring yourself to ask the two commanders for water. As the two chatted, a bright light coming from you caught their eyes. They turned to you, who summoned a bottle of water. The two was in shock as they didnʼt know you were also a devil fruit user.

You gave them an awkward smile. Magic revealed. You thought.
