They were 15 minutes away from Julie's, the walk would've lasted a few more blocks if Luke hadn't stopped them.
Nella rose her brow at him, Luke simply pointing at a poster on the wall reading "open mic night."
Reggie, Alex and Nella went to sit down, joining a table that seated a woman. The lady had her phone out, the screen on an app called Instagram, something unfamiliar to the ghosts. Her phone clicked as the shutter went off, a series of photos being taken,
"Oh, great angle. Yeah. Now that's a good pic." Reggie commented, looking over at the woman's phone,
"Is this what we're here for? To watch people take pictures of food?" Alex asked in confusion,
"Don't worry, it's one of Luke's schemes," Nella informed, both spirits staring at Reggie who was toying with the lifer's croissant.
"It's fun. Watch this. People never stop looking at their phones." He moved it around the table smiling when the lady reached out and couldn't feel it anymore. She finally looked up from her phone and moved away from them resulting in a collective laugh.
"Luke said something about this place being a hot spot for music industry people." Just as Reggie had said that Luke waltzed over sitting down in-between Alex & Reggie, "Boys, princess, being a ghost definitely has its privileges. I just wrote our names on the playlist for tonight." Upon hearing Luke's plan Alex turned to whisper to Reggie Nella, side-eyeing the lead.
