Five pizzas was a lot, even for Ethan and I. I was pretty bummed that Mason left and no one else showed up. I was really looking forward to a night out with everyone.

Ethan leaned back and groaned. "Oh my gods I don't think I could eat another bite"

"Weak." I shoved the last of the crust from my 9th piece into my mouth.

Ethan rolled his eyes. "Yeah, but can you do another?" He challenged me.

"Bet." I pulled a piece out from the only untouched pizza. "I can't believe you don't like Hawaiian pizza." I took a bite.

He pretended to gag. "In no right world does pineapple belong on pizza."

"It's so good though!" I said through a mouthful. I had to finish at least one last piece.

"I like the basics." He shrugged.

"Basic is boring. Sure pepperoni is good, but it's nothing compared to a supreme pizza, or a Hawaiian pizza."

"If Dad had heard you say that, I think he would disown you."

I snorted. "Yeah he doesn't take lightly when it comes to pizza." My stomach felt like it was going to explode but still, I took another bite of the slice. "Do you know what was going on with Mason tonight?" I asked.

Ethan draped his arm over the back of the booth seat. He shrugged. "I dunno, that guy can be pretty weird sometimes."

I frowned. "What were you guys talking about?" I asked in hopes he would actually tell me. Ethan and I are very close, even though we don't keep secrets from each other, I know we both keep other people's secrets.

"He'd probably kill me if I told you."

"He doesn't have to know that I know." I pleaded.

Ethan sighed. "It's just about some girl he likes."

"He likes someone?!" I almost yelled. Why hadn't he told me? We're best friends! Ethan nodded. "Who?" I was pushing my luck now.

He shook his head. "I can't tell you that."

I shoved the last of the pizza into my mouth and crossed my arms. I need to know who she is. Mason is a great guy, any girl would be lucky to have him. If I knew who it was, I could help her realize that they should be together. "We should box the rest of this and take it home."

Ethan wrinkled his nose. 'Who's going to eat your gross pineapple pizza?"

"Cast likes it. And I'll eat more of it too. There's still more cheese and there's half of the supreme. We can take those too."

"Yeah fine whatever." He waved the waitress over and asked for a couple of boxes.

We left a few minutes later with three boxes. I bribed Ethan into paying, and the ride home was filled with blasting the radio and singing along to the songs. I know I have other siblings and other people that are important to me, but I don't think I could ever love anyone more than I love Ethan.

"Look who's finally back!" Dad called from the living room as the two of us walked in.

He was sitting on the couch with Lina and they were having their story time. Now this wasn't your regular father daughter story time. Both my parents have dyslexia, both Ethan and Cast have it too, but lucky for us, Lina and I don't. So for story time Lina read to Dad instead of Dad reading to her. "Hey Dad." I walked over and kissed his cheek. He had a light shadow of a beard telling me he hadn't shaved in a while. It made him look older, which I didn't like because he always feels so young and alive.
