My Teacher Does What?

Chapter 3

"That you dont need to know"
August looked down "oh ok." 
He sighed looking at the clock "Need a ride home?"
"If you have to go it's fine." August followed him out. 
"I have 30 minutes till i have to be there, and i need to get something from my house"
"Ok, um I live at 13 Smith Ave." August looked up at him. 
He nodded leading him to his car. "Thats on the way to my place"
August followed him quickly and quietly 
He opened the door of the car. 
August got in the passengers side "can I smoke?" 
He got in. "Id rather you didnt." he said as he started the car driving off
August nodded watching him. 
He drove to his house. "See you tomorrow." he said as he stopped 
August nodded and got out "thank you." He smiled and shut the door

August knocked on Jakes door before classes even started. 
Jake opened the door. "August?" He asked confused, tired looking. 
August looked at him "tried much? Can I just stay here for a little while until class starts?" 
"Uh sure" he looked at the clock then went to his desk and took a sip of coffee. 
August sat down at his seat near Jake and shut his eyes for a few seconds 
After a few minutes Jake groaned setting his head on his desk
August looked at him smiling a little 
Jake didnt notice head still on his desk 
"Aren't you glad it's Friday." August smiled slightly. 
"I guess if i get to relax this week end" 
August just gave him a confused look. 
"Papers to grade, second job, more papers and lesson plans to make"
August nodded "I had my weekend early this week" he chucked. 
He looked at him confused and took another sip of coffee
August shook his head "I didn't have much homework last night... So I was able to chill I guess you could call it."
He nodded. "You work on your project?"
August nodded "I finished the first part of the drawing, just got to transfer it onto bigger paper and such. Always easier to draw if you're not thinking 100%." 
"What did you draw?" 
"A hand with broken glass." 
"Care to explain why now?"
"You'll have to wait for that paragraph." August smirked. 
He rolled his eyes. "Okay then"
August groaned "I have such a bad headache this morning."
Jake sighed, sipping his coffee
"I don't wanna go to class." August sighed. 
"Have to. I had to come in today." 
"Yeah but I don't mind your class." 
"You've had me for two days"
August shrugged "can I have some of your coffee? Pleaseeee." 
He slid the mug to him. 
August smiled slightly and took a few sips of it before giving it back. 
Jake looked at him. 
"Thank you." August smiled slightly at him. 
"Welcome"
August looked at the clock then got up "I got to go. Class starts in a few minutes and I need to smoke. I'll see you later." 
"See you" he nodded and down the last of his coffee
~~~later that day~~~ 
August sat down in his class in the same spot. 
He looked at him, then the rest of the class. "Work on your projects rough drafts due today"
August listened to him writing on a note pad paper 
Jake then started on some paper work
August finished his paragraph and stapled the drawing to it. 
He looked at him. 
August looked at it then handed it to him. 
He took it then looked at the drawing. "This is good"
August smiled slightly "I try." 
He read the paragraph
August went and started drawing something else. 
He read it again and looked at him. 
August didn't notice 
He watched him. 
August looked up after a few minutes and looked at the clock
"Smoke?" he asked
August looked at him and nodded.
"Go, an after i would like to talk to you"
August gave him a confused look but left and came back a few minutes later. 
He looked at him
August sat down again 
As the bell rang. Jake sighed. "How many packs do you go through?"
August thought for a moment "a less then a half to a full pack a day depending on how stressed I am." 
"I would like you to stop" 
August shook his head and pulled the sleeves over his hands again "I can't." 
"Why?"
"I've tried. I stop and then when I drink I end up smoking again." He said quickly. 
"You drink?" 
August gave him a worried look and nodded. 
"You shouldnt… what do you drink" 
August shrugged "pretty much anything." 
He sighed. "You need to stop"
August shook his head "I like it..."
"I bet. I liked smoking and drinking too. "
August looked at him curiously. 
"Try to cut back "
August bit his lip slightly nodding "I'll try." 
He nodded. "If you quit ill tell you what i do for my second job"
"Is it really that big of a secret?" August asked 
He smirked
August watched the class leave. 
Jake watched also.
August stayed put 
"What are you planing for the next one?"
"A kitchen." August chucked "anyway. Do you have a boyfriend?"
"Is that any of your concern?" he laughed
August shook his head "no not really. But I was curious." 
"No i dont" he said. 
"I don't either. But I've had a few, they all are asses." 
He laughed nodding. 
August laughed then bit his lip looking at him. 
He smiled as the class came in
August watched him 
He sighed and started on a project on his email. Hi
August put his head down on his desk still not taking his eyes off of Jake. 
He continued working sighing running a hand into his hair. 
August just watched 
When the class ended Jake sighed and looked at him. 
August lifted his head off the desk and stretched 
Jake sighed and got up. 
August watched him 
He stretched a little
August got up 
He looked at him then started to pack his bag
August backed up his stuff and started to leave "see you Monday?"
He nodded "yeah. " he looked at him. "Want a ride again?"
August nodded "please." 
He nodded and lead him out
August quietly followed him 
He opened the passenger side
August gave him a confused look but got in 
He shut the door and went to the driver side got in and started to drive off
August watched him 
He sighed and stopped at his house. "See you monday"
August got out "thank you."
