chapter 17

Jaden and I were currently in car, few minutes away from restaurant.
"I swear I love this city, but everything is so far away from the house." Jaden said squeezing his hand that was on my thigh.
"Yeah, I know."
I said before quickly my phone after I heard that I got a message.

Addison :
Aye, y'all almost there?

You :
Yeah, few minutes away.

Addison :
Oh, okay, we are there already.

You :
Okay, see ya. <3

Addison :
cya<3

"Addi said they are already there."
"M'kay."
In few minutes we were at the restaurant. We got a reservation outside so we could watch the sunset and the beach.
"Hello, how can I help you?"
"Reservation for Hossler."
"Okay, come with me."
We walked behind her, Jaden's hand on my lower back.
"Here you go, here are your menus."
"Thank you."
"Hi guys!" Amy happily said after waitress left.
We all hugged each other and then sat down, Jaden was next to me.
Addison on my right, Bryce next to her, and Amy and John across us.
We talked, Jaden and I ordered what we wanted. It was pretty good evening, we had a lot of fun.

After we ate, we decided to go down on the beach.
"Ah, the sunset is beautiful."
I said, my sandals in my right hand, left one interlocked with Jaden's.
"Not as much as you."
I pouted blushing a bit.
"Why thank you."
"Of course princess."
He said kissing my cheek.
"Ayy, Lex, they all are boring, wanna go in water with me?"
Addison asked as big smile formed on my face.
"You already know it."
I said as she smirked with me.
"I'll hold your sandals."
Jaden said grabbing them from my hand and I walked in water with Addison.
There was a lot of waves.
"We should come on beach in few days. I wasn't in water for so long."
She said as we stood now, water a little above our knees.
"Yeah, we should."
"Girls!"
We heard amy yell behind us so we looked at her. Jaden, Bryce and John were sitting on sand and she was near water, holding her phone up.
Addison and I posed, knowing that she is taking pictures of us in sunset.
After a long walk on the beach, it was around 9:20 or something, so we all said our bye's and walked to our cars.
"Wanna go pick up nick tomorrow? If we are going on the beach in few days, he'd probably want to go too."
"Uh, sure. I'll call mom."
"Okay."
He smiled at me.
We had almost hour drive home.

"Hey mommy."
"Hey Ale, what's up?"
"I just wanted to tell you that we'd pick up Nick tomorrow, if that's fine with him and you."
"Of course. I could've just order him Uber."
"I know, but doesn't matter, we'll pick him up."
"Okay, how was your day?"
"It was good, we are just heading home. We went to dinner with Amy, John, Addi and Bryce. And then walked around the beach, watching the sunset."
"Oo, that's nice."
"What about you guys?"
"Meh, we just chilled around, nothing special happened."
"Okay then, I'll see you tomorrow."
"Oh, wait a sec, Nick wants to talk to you, he just came home."
"Oh, okay."
"Hi sisterr!"
He yelled making Jaden chuckle, he was that loud that Jaden could hear him.
"Hey Nicky, wassup?"
"I just came home. And you?"
"Jaden and I are heading home from dinner. Aye, you wanna know something?"
"Yeah?"
"W-we were on the beach. In water."
I said realizing maybe it's better if we surprise him. Jaden looked at me weirdly, and soon looked back to road.
"Ooh, that's nicee. Did you swim?"
"Nah, Addison and I just walked in water a bit. There was a lot of waves."
"Ooh. Well, I'm gonna play games now."
"Okay, gimme back mom."
"Hey." She said as Nick handed her phone.
"Ayy, don't tell him we are coming, I wanna surprise him."
"Okay."
"Okay, I'll see ya."
"Bye. Love you."
"Love you too."
I hung up and set down my phone between my legs.
