the drink you spilled all over me, "lovers spit" left on repeat.

dream left the music on as they cleaned the drink sapnap so effortlessly spilled all over him and the floor. the small giggles from sapnap made dream smile as he called him silly names.

my mom and dad let me stay home, it drives you crazy getting old.

sapnap jumped on his bed, sighing.

"i dont want to get any older dream, it's scary. all this worrying about graduating college and actually being an adult" he continued to ramble thinking dream wasn't actually listening. but dream loved hearing sapnap ramble.

we can talk it so good. we can make it so divine. we can talk it good, how you wish it would be all the time.

they continued to talk for hours, dream wishing they could stay by each other's side every moment. they had meaningful conversations that sapnap didn't know dream would keep forever.

This dream isn't feeling sweet. We're reeling through the midnight streets

sapnap and dream would always try to take their mind off things by getting drunk and riding around in the middle of the night. laughing off their problems but it always seemed to come back. especially as they got older.

And I've never felt more alone. It feels so scary, getting old

dream and sapnap grew distant, both focusing on work and college. they seemed to forget about each other. they felt like they were missing something, they were always reminded about how lonely they were.

We can talk it so good. We can make it so divine. We can talk it good, how you wish it would be all the time

they missed the long night drives and conversations. dream missed his sapnap and sapnap missed his dream. they both wished that they could reunite.

I want 'em back, I want 'em back. The minds we had, the minds we had. How all the thoughts, how all the thoughts. Moved 'round our heads, moved 'round our heads

dream felt more and more depressed as he sapnap faded from him, his best friend now seemed like a stranger he once knew in a past life.

I want 'em back, I want 'em back. The minds we had, the minds we had. It's not enough to feel the lack. I want 'em back, I want 'em back

sapnap missed dream. he slowly forgot about him. the memories faded from his mind. he forget who dream once was. and who he could've been if sapnap still had known him now.

You're the only friend I need (You're the only friend I need)

once best friends always best friends. right?

Sharing beds like little kids
(Sharing beds like little kids)

missing the way sapnap would hold his arm as they slept.

And laughing till our ribs get tough
(Laughing till our ribs get tough)

the way he laughed at dreams stupid jokes.

But that will never be enough
(But that will never be enough)

but he still chose to leave. and he hated sapnap for it.

"i wish i was enough for you, nick."
