I heard Nova say. I shook my head as I and Santiago walked into the cottage. I feel like nova has a pang of jealousy over him., Micha greets us with quick hugs and goes to the kitchen to start dinner.
"So what's your guy's plan?" Santiago breaks the silence.
"We don't have one-" I mumble.
"Ok, Well for starters what exactly happened?" He questions.
" So basically one night we were asleep, heard a crash then got shoved here, then your dumbass showed up." Nova snaps.
Silence coats the room till Micha finally clears his throat.
"Yeah, basically that." Santiago nods his head and says "Did your mom leave any type of instructions?"
" Yea she did," I speak up.
"She left me a letter saying what happened to my father and the dei=vils after me. I need to find my grandma who's hiding in Ireland."
" Well shit." he laughs.
" So we need a plan?"
" Yea." we all agree. "
Well, we can talk about this over some soup,"
Micha says As we all wolf down Michas soup, everyone is spilling ideas. " So this is what we know," Micha pulls out a notepad and explains

" Yea Yea, Ok step two Go to a ball."
"Step Three go to the club run by witches and vixens?"
" Step four Go to Santa Cruz and go get tarot reading for a gypsy?" Micha finishes
" Well, we're fucked." I say.
" I know it seems like a lot, but trust me thousands of people have done this before." Santiago rescuers.
Micha lets out a yawn and gets up.
"Well, I'm off to bed night." We all nod.
Nova pokes me to go to my room. I stand up and say
" We're gonna turn in to, you can crash on the couch if you want or I can get you-" "I'm fine." he cuts me off.
I smile and head to my room with nova following. We get changed and as soon as my head hits the pillow I fall asleep.
Novas Pov
I watch as Dakota slips into a peaceful sleep. She's sleeping near the window and the moonlight reflects off her skin giving her a goddess look. She is so beautiful... I just wish I could tell her without ruining our friendship. Loving someone for a distance is like Getting so close to freedom but then your wings fall off. I just want to be able to hold her and whisper sweet nothings. To make her laugh or even smile. Those are the precious things about Dakota Moreno. I stand up and kiss her on the forehead and say " one day my love I hold you and we'll be free but for now, I'll love you till I give my last breath." I sit by the window and realize holy shit I got it bad. I fall asleep with a smile and my face.
I wake up to the sound of birds and the smell of oatmeal. I turn to my side and see Dakotas bed made and her not in it. Entering the kitchen I see Dakota chatting it up With Santiago and I roll my eyes. Micha winks at me as I sit on the couch. He hands me so oatmeal and says " Enjoy." "Yes, mother." I snap.The while breakfast I can't focus as I heard Santiago flirt with Dakota and her breathlessly laughing, It's sickening. I stand up and throw my bowl in the sink which makes a clash. Everyone jumps at the noise. I throw my hair in a ponytail, grab my boots and my jacket. Dakota then questions " Where are you going?" "Out," I respond. I go down to the trees and start throwing my pocket knife at an oak one. Ten minutes go by and someone suddenly speaks "What did the tree ever do to you?" " Shut up Micha," I respond " I don't understand why you're mad." "I don't know maybe because Dakota is partially on top of him." "Oh so you're jealous?" he says " Am not." I snap "Sure." he teases " Did you just come out here to piss me off or do you want something?" " I was wondering if you wanted to come into time with me?" " Why not!" I responded. End of Nova POV
Dakotas Pov I wake up, I enter the living room to see Micha cooking and Santigo reading. Plopping on the couch I ask " Whatcha reading?" He Looks up and responds " Lord of the flies." " I love that book." I gasp. " So today I was thinking I could teach you some magic." " Id love that." I smile.
