"I want you to meet someone," I said with a laugh as I took off her glasses and put them on.

"Who?" she asked as she reached out for her glasses. I grabbed her hand with mine and pulled it down to our sides.

"You'll see." We were almost to my flat, and my friend was already waiting inside. When we got inside, I pulled my hand out of hers and covered her eyes. Gwen tried to duck away, but I moved my hands to follow her movements. She giggled, but stood still. It took us a while to get up the steps.

"You're going to make me fall!" she shrieked as she fell backwards against me. I laughed and stood still as she regained her balance. When we finally got up the stairs, I led her into the living room where my friend was waiting.

"Are you ready, Gwendolyn?" She nidded her head vigurously and I had a hard time keeping up with her. I took a deep breath and pulled away my hands. As soon as she opened her eyes, she screamed.
