So before this begins just know I DO know Connor is gay, mkay? its too late to change things. I made this before he made his coming out video. okay enjoy :)

"Connor-I-uhm." I sigh knowing excuses won't help me now. "Look-"

"No need to continue, Sydnee." He interuppts. "Just go. I'm kind of surprised you decided to go at this time." I look towards the ground embarassed he caught me. "I'm sorry," I lift my head, "but I just can't stay here knowing I left Kayla and the rest of them stranded in that world full of zombies."

"It's not just that, is it?" He said quietly.

I stare at him questionably.  "What do you mean?" He doesn't mean for-

"Him. Mitch. I could tell you might've had something after hearing you whisper his name as you slept." Connor says  adjusting the attachments on his vest. "Why would I mention Mitch in my sleep?" I asked confused. "I-I don't know I'd imagine you knew the answer to that."

"Well, just in case you haven't found out, I don't." There was a long pause before I continued. "Anyways, Connor, I'm sorry I'm leaving you and I know I promised and I know you're probably pissed and-" He stops me. "Pissed? I understand that you want to go find them and have the satisfaction that they're alive. That's how I felt about you." His expression saddens. "Just promise me you'll come back."

I walk up to him and kiss his cheek. "I promise." My eyes meet his and he hugs me before I walk away on the journey to find them.

[Three days later]

Well, Just as I thought things wouldn't become worse after eating the last portion of food I have it starts pouring. Luckily, I was near a small gas station, but then I realize it's doors were locked shut and there's not heavy enough to shatter the glass doors. So, I stood underneath the mini roof it had above the entrance. I shiver and look inside to check if there was any food or water I could motivate myself with. Nothing. This gas station was picked clean. The only things I found were wrappers, newspapers, and empty medicine bottles scattered along with other junk on the floor. There also happened to be a bloody sleeping bag and pillow in between two shelves.

I guess someone hid here for a while, but probably got bitten or something and escaped through the back. THE BACK. I begin to rush towards the back squinting because of the rain. "How could I be so stupid and not think about the..." I trail off after I see a dead walker squished between a large dumpster that was packed with trash.

There's no way I'm moving that dumpster anywhere without help. I rush back to the mini roof and sit against the glass door with my head on my knees. "At this rate, I'll be dead before I can even get a glimpse of Kayla and the others." Let's face it, I'm trembling from the coldness of my soaking clothes, I'm starving because the last bit of my food supply is gone, and I'm alone in the middle of nowhere. I don't know I am. I don't know why I convinced myself to come back. I just-

"Over there! There's a gas station up ahead!" I hear a familiar voice yell. I look up and see five figures running towards me. The come closer and I can almost feel the excitement as I recognized there faces.

"SYDNEE!" Kayla shouts speeding to me with open arms. We hug and Mitch, Jerome, Tyler, and Alesa follow up after her. "Oh my god, you're drenched in rain! Tyler do we have anythings to help dry her off?" Kayla asks. He shakes his head after searching his backpack. Mitch does the same and ends up empty.

"How long have you been out here?" Mitch asks giving me the sweater he wore underneath his raincoat. I smile and take the offer. "Well, after I left you guys Connor found me and drove me to New York. I stayed there for one night, then left because I was worried about all of you. And I believe I've been out here searching for three days."

"Three days?! Alone knowing those demons and are out there along with the infected?" Tyler says astonished. "Actually, I haven't even thought about the demons. Speaking of, did they-" Alesa begins to sob. I could see the tears well up in Jerome's eyes. "Those bitches killed Adam, Alexa, Louise, Jocelyn, and Ian." Mitch grimaced.

"What about Carlita and- and Ty? What happened to them?" I choke ready to burst into tears. "The infected got them." Jerome mumbled wiping away his tears. "There was a huge herd of them and they were coming quick. All kinds of infected were there.  We ran for it, but Carlita fell and twisted her ankle. Ty came running to her, but they..." Tyler took a breath and continued. "They suddenly were surrounded. You could hear Ty screaming for us to run. As hard as it was we pushed ourselves forward."

"It the most terrifying and traumatic event that has ever happened and we felt awful to see them go that way." Kayla says. "Her shrieks. Her cry. I-I couldn't do anything." Jerome whimpered. I walk up to Jerome and embrace him. "I'm sorry."

"Jerome was hit hard after hearing Carlita's cries for help." Mitch says sitting against the doors. There was a silence. I've missed so much. I can't help, but think this is all my fault.

"I wish this rain would stop." Alesa informed staring up at the gray clouds.

"I wish this would all stop." I say sliding down the doors beside Mitch and laying my head against his shoulder.

BAM! Guess who's back? Back again. Jess is back. Tell a friend. Well I've decided to shorten this up and quicken the pace of this story lol. I don't have a very long summer vacation so yeah. I'm also starting a new story (ikr whattttt it's not a fanfiction?) Yes it's not. I wanted to make a story...with Jace Norman portraying the main character because Jace is perfection.
