Chapter Nineteen
Future
It had been three years and Yoongi couldn't believe the amount that had happened.
He had gotten custody of Taehyung who would only see his mother when he wanted to (a scarce amount of times). Hoseok and Jeongguk had tied the knot and adopted an eight year old — Adora — and a puppy called Mickey. As for Jackson and his mother? They got extremely close to Yoongi as well as Ms. Kim who got married in that time to Moon Byul-yi so soon became Mrs. Moon. Seokjin and Jimin announced their relationship and how they were engaged publicly which everyone immediately accepted. Namjoon and Yoongi... Well Yoongi was just waiting for Namjoon to pop the question really, Namjoon had moved in but Yoongi was still waiting.
"Joon-ah..." Yoongi mumbled from under the sheets.
"Hyung-ah..." Namjoon mumbled back.
"I love you... like a lot..." Namjoon smiled at the half-asleep man and glanced at the clock in the room.
"I love you too babe but it's like four am... Don't you think we should be asleep?" Yoongi nodded and pulled Namjoon closer to himself.
"I'm so glad you asked me out... I'm so glad I was oblivious, I'm so glad we spoke that day I am so freaking glad that you're here with me Namjoonie. So freaking glad and happy and all those positive emotions that you not only take care of me but Taehyung as well and..." Namjoon smiled as he realised the older had fallen asleep mid-rant.
"Just wait bub, just a little bit more you need to hold on." Namjoon whispered before dozing off himself.
"Welp, how've you been?" Yoongi smiled as he brought a tray of various drinks over. Taehyung and Jackson were doing their own things, just normal six year old stuff, whilst the adults (Jackson's mum (Amber*), Byul-yi, Yong-son, Hoseok, Jeongguk, Jimin, Seokjin, Namjoon and Yoongi) chatted away, enjoying their time together. Adora was busy going through her emo stage.
"Namjoonie when you going to ask the question?" Amber said, wiggling her eyebrows causing the table to look toward Namjoon with hopeful eyes.
"Not anytime soon so don't get your hopes up!" Namjoon exclaimed in sheet panic. He didn't but the rest of them noticed the disappointed expression on Yoongi's face.
"Hyung it's gonna be okay, you just gotta be patient," Jimin whispered, holding Yoongi's hand. The older shone a weak smile before his eyes went back to his hand as he played with his jewellery.
Seokjin quickly elbowed Namjoon who seemed to be in a pissy mood.
"You're an idiot," he whispered, kicking Namjoon under the table, discreetly gesturing toward Yoongi.
"shit..."
"Namu said bad word!"
*i feel so bad for making my baby Amber bad in the beginning but like always I don't plan anything and kinda just go with the flow so I didn't even know this would happen lmao. But she's nice now!
