"Jaybee tell my mom to stop doing that damn dance please" I said shaking my head
All of us were currently in the living room having a good time watching my mom dancing to body by megan thee stallion aka my godmom. I don't know who told my mom to get her old ass up to start twerking but she need to stop before she hurt herself like last time.
"Liyah like you are embarrassing yo own damn kid right now" Jaybee said laughing
"And I don't give a fuck Jay but Body-ody-ody-ody-ody-ody-ody-ody" She said twerking
"You know what I'm going to dang room and when I come back down here then you betta stop all this dance mom" I said looking at her
"Body-ody-ody-ody-ody-ody-ody-ody" She said still twerking
I shook my head and left them to do what they are doing then started making my way upstairs towards my room. I closed the door behind me because I don't wanna hear my mom screaming those damn lyrics anymore.
As I was getting comfortable on my king size bed, that's when my phone started ringing on my nightstand. That's when I quickly rolled over to grab it off of the charger to realize that it was my father calling me right now.
Now you're probably wondering how's your relationship with your dad these last couple of years and shit? Well honestly, I don't even know anymore like as I was growing up the less that he would come visit and check up on me. I will say that when I was like maybe 5 or 6 like he wasn't visiting as much like he used too but he started coming back a little bit more again then once the baby was born... things started changing sadly. I have had those nights where I would cry myself to see because I would see him with his new family just living their best life on social media while I'm over here wondering if he still do love me or care about me. The only people that knows that I am feeling this type of way towards my dad is my mom and Jaybee like no one else.
I just sat there while the phone was ringing multiple times til it went to voicemail then that's when the tears started falling down my cheek. Like it's sad that my mom went through this type of pain like when will my dad realize that his action are hurting the people that love him and care for him the most.
It must be nice to have a father who loves you... _____________
