you grabbed a chip from the bag and ate it as the characters in the movie talked. honestly, at this point, you didn't pay attention to it anymore. you looked at the spiky blonde in the corner of your eye and saw him texting.
you tried your best not to smile at the event that happened earlier.
maybe... just maybe... he cares about you?
you heard him grumbling as he looked at his phone, "tch." glancing at him, you raised a brow. "...i gotta go."
"oh," you checked the time, 3:57 am. "alright. bye."
he nodded, standing up and walking towards the door. as he left the room, you could hear a feminine voice calling bakugou's name.
your eyebrows furrowed. ashido?
it's unusual for her to be up this late — at nearly 4 am? you were even more confused.
heaving out a sigh, you closed your laptop and plopped down on your bed. 'maybe ashido saw him getting out of my dorm...? god damn it.' you groaned, trying to get rid of your thoughts.
you then heard ashido giggling. you really didn't want to jump to conclusions first but... fuck.

during lunch, you headed to the cafeteria with midoriya, uraraka, todoroki, iida, and asui. you sat between the two girls and started eating.
"hey," midoriya spoke up. "kacchan was kind of pissed off today, don't you think?"
uraraka agreed with him. "mhm, and l/n," you hummed in response. "you told me you two always text each other, right?"
your eyes widened. "uh... we—"
"wait, really?" midoriya was surprised, slightly leaning towards you.
"ahaha... yeah." you mumbled, eating your lunch food. uraraka just chuckled before talking to your other friends. they were right, you noticed that the blonde was getting irritated even at the smallest things.
'the fuck is wrong with him?' you were genuinely concerned. after eating, you saw bakugou with his hands tucked into his pockets, walking with his friends. so, you tried calling his name out. "bakugou!"
...maybe he didn't hear you? you frowned slightly. you suddenly felt someone patting your shoulder. "hey l/n, let's go." uraraka whispered, and you hesitated before standing up.
"yeah."
