Annya got home late feeling very dead on her feet. She'd had to make up for skipping out on the music video shooting the day of the USJ incident by doing double the work today.

She also had to get up early before work to do some paperwork related to her quirk usage against villains at the USJ, and the possibility of her using it again in the future.

Needless to say, she was exhausted when she got home after 15 hours of work.

When she was finally released, it was 12 a.m.

She trudged through the front door, closing it gently behind her as she slipped her shoes off at the door.

On the way to her room, she passed Ichika and her friend on the couch.

Wait. Ichika and her friend? She backed up.

Ichika was fast asleep, her head resting on the boy's shoulder.

Annya recognized the boy from the hospital; he had been there to visit her while Ichika was still asleep, and again after she woke up.

She couldn't help but feel like she had seen him before then, though, but she couldn't quite recall it at the moment.

"Hello," she said, gazing at the boy who was sitting on her couch.

He stood abruptly, causing Ichika to fall over and her head to hit the seat of the couch before she jumped awake.

"Ms. Sakurai. I don't mean to intrude. Ichika and I had lunch together and she invited me over to watch this American cartoon, so we were—"

"Woah, calm down there, kiddo," Annya held out a hand. "I'm pleased that you're here, it was just a surprise."

She glanced at the clock. "Actually, it's very late. Do your parents know you're here?"

The boy's expression hardened as he looked to the side. "He knows I can take care of myself."

"I'm sure you can, but I wouldn't want you to get into any trouble on Ichika's account," Annya glanced at her younger sister before looking back at him. "Are you being held against your will? Ichika means well, but she's very good at keeping people around her. She hates to be alone."

"Annya," Ichika groaned, burying her face in her hands.

"No, I'm alright. I would probably be awake right now, anyway," he stated.

Annya cocked her head at him. "I don't believe I got your name."

"Right," he bowed slightly to her. "I am Shoto Todoroki. It's very nice to see you again, Ms. Sakurai."

After hearing his family name, Annya knew why she remembered him. The last time she had seen him before he started at UA, though, he hadn't had that scar.

"Please, call me Annya," she smiled softly at him. "In any case, I believe it's time for you to head home. I would love to have you over again sometime, though."

"Of course," he bowed again. "Thank you, Ms.— I mean, Annya."

He headed for the door, but she stopped him. "Wait. I'll drive you home."

"Oh, no, that's alright. I'm—"

Annya was already slipping her shoes back on.

"I'll go with you!" Ichika stood from the couch.

"No, you should be in bed, kiddo," Annya looked at her. "You know you're not supposed to have friends over after ten."

Ichika looked down at the ground and Annya felt her disappointment.
