Since I will be on vacation starting tomorrow, here is an early update! Enjoy! :)

================

After the phone rang several times, I got in contact with my mother to make sure that she had actually sent Kyro to get me and that it wasn't another kidnapping attempt and luckily she had. I only told let my mother know that Kyro had gotten me and we were on our way and then hung up on her. I was upset but mostly disappointed that she had never told me I was a witch. We were going to have a long conversation when we saw each other again.

I felt Kyro's rough hand trace on my arm for the fifth time since we had gotten in the car and my irritation grew.

"Kyro what the hell is wrong with you? Do you need your medication or something? This is the fifth time you've touched my arm," I questioned annoyed at the brunette haired male who watched me carefully.

"I'm just in shock."

"About what?"

"That you exist."

"What? You thought my mom lied? I should have said the same for you! I thought you were only a fairy tale!"

"I should have stayed that way," Kyro grumbled, running his fingers through his hair.

"Why?"

"Once word gets out that I'm alive and I've been seen, people will want to find me and my siblings. We have many enemies that want to use us for their benefits and some just want favors. I'm sick of it."

"So then go into hiding again?"

"Not anymore."

"What but you just said-"

"Forget what I said. I can't hide anymore. I have something important to protect now that's all."

"Then what's the important thing?"

"You ask a lot of questions don't you?" Kyro questioned, shaking his head while he chuckled. "You're just like your mother."

"Well if you were in my shoes, you'd be doing the same exact thing. I grew up thinking I was human and now I've been thrown into the world of the supernatural. I'm not exactly ecstatic right now to find that some part of my life has been a lie. It's like someone suddenly finding out they are adopted when they weren't supposed to."

"You're handling it better than I probably would have," Kyro pointed out, loosening the tie from around his neck and rolling up the sleeves of his dress shirt.

"Trust me, I'm not. I'm about three seconds away from throwing myself out of the car to knock some sense into myself."

"Don't even think about it," Kyro growled lowly, looking at the lock on the door. "If you jump out of this car, I will track you down."

"Gah!! For someone who's as old as dirt, you sure don't see things logically. It was a metaphor to show the level of frustration I'm feeling."

Kyro growled lowly at the insult but turned away glancing outside the moving car. It had already been an hour since we had escaped Gabriel's house.

"So you are a werewolf right?"

"I thought you already knew the story."

"Well I've heard of it but I'm not sure what's real or false. Was everything in that story true?"

"It depends what part?"

"Your mother- Did she really...."

"I don't want to talk about that," Kyro grumbled continuing to stare out the window at the fast moving landscape.
