Oh Cinderella, oh Belle, oh Aurora, oh Snow White, oh Rapunzel
could such a perfect tale
exist in the real world?
could every love story have
a beautiful ending to it?
oh what a dream
to have a perfect love life
I questioned the love of my life
who does your heart beat for?
who do your eyes glow for?
who does your mind think of?
who has their name written on your soul?
silence
they couldn't even lie to my teary eyes and say "you"
I knew their heart didn't beat for me
those dreamy eyes don't glow for me
that mind doesn't remember me
that soul doesn't recognize me
at first
I was special to them
well
life isn't a fairytale
my heart is hurt
I don't feel their spark anymore
like they've met such a new special person
could that be the truth?
could it?
my heart beats for this person
my eyes admire them
my mind thinks only about them
my soul is written on their name
this is what I deserve?
torture?
a shattered heart?
oh to be in a fairytale
in a flawless love life
what a dream
oh Cinderella the shoe shattered
oh Belle the beast died
oh Aurora the prince gave up
oh snow white the kiss didn't save you
oh Rapunzel Flynn didn't wake up
