How To EnterChoose "Watty Awards 2012" as one of your categories, and the genre you would like to enter for this year’s Watty Awards. To allow more people to participate in the Awards, you can only enter at most two stories, and they must be of different genres (For example, "Story A" in Science Fiction, and "Story B" in Adventure). |

Genre AwardsGenre Awards finalists will be announced for three levels: Most Popular, On the Rise, and Undiscovered. The levels are determined by: 1) support from fans and other readers 2) the popularity of the story in comparison to other entries 3) the consistency of activity throughout the entire story There will be a winner for each category level. In other words, each genre category will have three winners (one Popular, one On the Rise, and one Undiscovered) This year, we will be adding a Super Popular level for more populated genres like Teen Fiction and Romance! Although we recognize that some stories may contain elements of one or more genres or themes in order to compete in a specific category, a majority of your story must belong to the specific genre you wish to enter. Wattpad has the right to re-categorize or disqualify any story that does not fit these requirements. |
