You tell me: It's just a silly hobby. But i ask you: Have you ever trusted something so unpredictable, who with one misstep can kill us? Have you ever fallen from 6 feet up, going 35 mph and brushed yourself off? Have you ever raced full speed towards an obstacle? Have you ever jumped something that's taller than you? So before you underestimate us, think to yourself; do you understand the true bond required? Have you ever had a team mate 10 times your size? Don’t EVER tell me that riding isn’t a sport. Riding is a sport at the very LEAST. Its not staying after school for two hours of practice seven days a week. NO - its driving twenty-five hours to get to the show, just to wake up at 3:30 in the morning on a SATURDAY for a horse show and staying there until 12:00 that night only to wake up at 4:00 again. Its having complete control over your body, emotions, and nerves and communicating with a 1200 pound animal that could kill you at any moment. Riding takes more dedication and practice than you will ever know, unless you experience it yourself. <3<3<3<3
