I'm a mountain girl turned city chick. Though I grew up in Colorado, I have fallen hard for San Francisco. Life is too short not to live in a beautiful place. I come from a long line of Irish-American storytellers, so slinging words and spinning yarns is in my blood. I can only hope to someday be as good at it as my grandfather. I was also born with chronic wanderlust. I've lived in Spain and traveled through Europe. After college I spent over a year backpacking alone through Mexico, Cuba, Central and South America. During that time I spent countless hours on buses, ferry boats, and the backs of flatbed trucks watching the landscape and observing the people. Since then, I've been fascinated with how large and unknowable the world can seem, yet people have so much in common no matter what language they speak or where they come from. As a writer I love to imagine mysterious worlds within worlds, populated with people who are just like everyone else and yet hopelessly foreign. I have a rescued cat named Fuzzface. I have a lot of bad hair days, thanks to the ocean winds in this city. I'm hopelessly nosy and can't stop myself from eaves dropping on the arguments and gossipy stories going on around me. And I wish I had another ten decades in my life to read every story I want to read and watch every movie I want to see and meet every cool person there is to meet and do everything I want to do. There's just so much to do.

Hi!!! First of all, I want to say thank you for sharing your stories to us. If I may say, Paulette, Josh, and I are kindred spirits. I can't just put a good book down. BTW, I have just finished reading your novel, The Waking Moon. I SUPER liked it. The story was refreshing as it is somewhat different from the usual stories I come across Wattpad.
