Hey everyone! I’m new (and completely lost) on Wattpad and since I’m terrible at introducing myself and don’t want to waste your time and bore you, I’ll just skip to what really matters…

I just submitted the first chapter of my story: The Weight of Things. And yeah, I know the tittle sucks, but please give a chance to this poor newcomer… *pouting*.  Come on! You’ve been there once…

Sisters Hester and Lenora Ferrer have longtime ago moved to the unstoppable New York City, turning their backs on childhood memories from hometown Louisiana and building a new life above their family misfortunes. While the youngest and prodigy girl, Lenora, is imprisoned and causing trouble in a preppy boarding school; the eldest, Hester, is struggling against the fact she can be discarded anytime soon, working in the predatory industry of modeling.
But when the sisters travel to their grandmother’s house back in Louisiana and open the old familiar trunk in the basement, those problems seem out of scale when they are forced to face memories and unanswered questions from their past.
Their past that they had tried their best to forget…


And… I have to warn you guys (in case you have not noticed yet) that I’m not a native English-speaker; therefore, please forgive me for eventual spelling and grammar mistakes. And about that… if there are any grammar nazis out there (which I bet there are since this is a place for aspiring writers), please feel free to correct me so I can edit later!
