I started writing for Wattpad when I was fifteen years old, and I hope to continue writing stories for the rest of my life. It's one of my greatest passions, as is reading. As a young adult, however, most of my time is sucked away by my university studies and work commitments. Which leaves me with very little time to write. But please know that I have not left Wattpad; I'm just sitting idle until the time is right, and when it is, gosh darn you should be prepared for some epicness. I have millions of stories that I'm eager to write and share with you all.

In the meantime, I want to thank each and every one of you for your support. If you vote and comment on each of my stories, I love you. If you sit quiet and just read them, I love you. If you've given one of my stories a chance, I love you. If you offer critique of my stories, I love you. If you've simply stumbled across my page randomly, I love you. Each of you support me immensely, and I cannot thank you enough. You've given me an opportunity and a voice, and I'm so incredibly grateful for this community.

I hope to be back in action on Wattpad as soon as possible, but I can't say when that will be. In the meantime, I hope your reading and writing ambitions are becoming a reality.

Hey all,

Long time, no see!

Sorry for completely not existing these past few weeks, months, years. It feels like forever since I've been active on Wattpad, and I really miss it. I miss the fun and enjoyment of sharing my writing with the world and reading other people's stories. It's been almost five years since I joined Wattpad, and I would love to get back into it all this summer.

I'm hoping NaNoWriMo will give me that inspiration.

I've been itching to write for so long now, and I decided that NaNoWriMo is the perfect opportunity to get my writing flowing again. I hope that I can write a first draft of a novel in the month of November, and then self-edit it a little before uploading it to you all here on Wattpad.

That is, if you want to read it. You see, the novel I want to write is a redraft of Convincing Amy. Same characters, same general idea of the story, but it's completely different! No plot point is the same, no setting is the same. As I've matured and experienced much more of the world myself, I feel like I owe Amy (and Matt and Pippa and Nick and Yani and Donna and Jake and everyone else) a better story.

I want to turn the series into a "trilogy" of sorts, where I write each book from a different character's experience. The first will be Amy's story, the second Yani's, and the third Donna's, the one I most neglected in my first drafts. Each story will read as its own, but each will feature these beloved characters of mine, each in different detail depending on the story. If you've read Stephanie Perkins's novels, that's where I drew my inspiration to give each of my girls their own story.

I already have the basic outlines for each story. I know what's going to happen. I just need to write it all down somehow. And this is where NaNoWriMo comes in to give me the boost that I desperately need.

I really am going to try to stick to the plan this time, and hopefully I'll be able to share a new story with you all very soon! I'm also interested in having final copies of these stories published one day, so hopefully I'll be able to look into all of that too :)

So I'll be seeing you all VERY soon!

Much love, and thanks for sticking with me all these years,
Steph xo
