Raised on a small farm in a rural area, I had a playground that was nothing short of picturesque. The wide open space was a proving ground for creativity. With a forest that may or may not have been haunted, and a creek bed with a Tom & Huck style fishing hole, I took full advantage of the backdrop. My friends and I created worlds in which I played the role of army general, Indian warrior, stunt man, and when certain situations called for it, lover (some roles I played better than others). As an adult I developed a deep love of history. I gravitate toward Compelling stories of real people, doing amazing things, whether they are documented as fact, or fiction. Combining my adventurous imagination, with the love of compelling stories, I really had no choice but to become an Author. I write Historical Fiction, and Mystery/thriller novels.

Wow, Mr. Mcleod. This story is amazing, and I've only read three chapters so far! I really think you should look into publishing your story; I'm sure many publishing companies would be happy to do it. As I consider you more wise in the ways of writing than I am, I was wondering if you could possibly try to find time to read the story I am writing, to possibly give me advice. Well, thanks again for being such and amazing writer!

Hey Mr McLeod, I just wanted to say that I am really enjoying Black Sam. It's memorable, interesting and I love how you incorporate sub plots as well your main plots to create a story. In addition, I can really feel the love of history you have and add into your story. Anyway, I just wanted to say this because of the last few chapters you uploaded, and I read. I enjoyed them a lot, and thanks for sharing such an amazing story.
