Hey everybody,
I find nothing exciting, let alone pretend to show interest, before eleven a.m.
I'm 17 living in B.C. Canada. Proud Canadian!
Kik: shortygirl12321
I love dancing in the rain!
My favorite authors are: Ally Carter, Tolstoy, Hemingway, Dickens, Steinbeck...
I love Gilmore Girls and One Tree Hill. Sadly, both of them are over. Arrow is now my new obsession.
I listen to music every chance I get.
I like Marianas Trench, Nickelback, Hedley, The Fray, Aerosmith, Bon Jovi, The Killers, XTC...
I am a huge procrastinator but I have always kept my grade level at an 'A'.
I have a 27 year old brother and a 33 year old sister.
I have a cat, pictured above, that is named after a UFC wrestler. Her name is Silva.
I have amazing friends that have gone through everything with me since kindergarten. I don't know what I would do without them.
I do not believe in soul mates, or true love, and I find the concept of love in high school utterly ridiculous. My opinion, and mine alone, no hate.
I'm 4'10" and proud of it.
It's a rare occasion you see me not smiling. Unless you wake me up.
My celebrity crushes consist of pretty much any guy who's ever been on the CW. It was way better when it was the WB but can't do anything about that now.
Sarcasm is my first language.
Red is the best!
Tiny in size, height, weight, with pale skin in serious need of a tan, green eyes and light brown hair that's a couple inches past my chest.
Dresses, heels? No. Jeans, converse? Absolutely!

There are a lot of things in my life right now that are undecided. And that used to scare me, but I kind of like the idea that it’s just all kind of wide open. -- Gilmore Girls.

Grief is like the ocean. It’s deep and dark and bigger than all of us. And pain is like a thief in the night…quiet, persistent, unfair…diminished by time and faith and love.-- One Tree Hill.

Si vous savez ce que cela signifie, vous êtes un génie. Au revoir.

Signed, Sydney (shortygirl12321).

Description: "When I first got to high school I thought it was daunting, without even a thought to the world surrounding me. I had no idea that the building that I was about to enter would be a condensed world of the future in front of me. Being the naïve person...

“Every day, I look around and see people who revolve their whole lives on their families. My whole life revolves around my family as well, but unlike most families, my axis is not based on love; it’s...
She wasn't 7/8 when she wrote this. She was in Seventh Grade which means she's like 12/13. And thank you so much! I hope you enjoy the rest of book.

No, she isn't autistic. You have to consider all that she's been through. She has never had any sort of role model, she's never had anyone tell her they love her, and she's lived in a world where trusting people makes you look like an idiot. She knows she's in the wrong half the time, she knows she's hurting people, and she knows that what she does isn't always the right thing, but that's her only defense. Acting cold, acting like this doesn't affect her, that's all she has to go on to make sure she doesn't get hurt again. All she has felt is pain and disappointment, and to her love doesn't exist. Feelings to her are a waste of time, because she knows once she lets herself be happy she'll just end up back at square one feeling nothing but misery because that's how it's always been. Her reasons and her attitude are explained more in the sequel Count Your Shadows, but if you don't like the way she acts then you're probably not going to like the rest of the story because that's who she is, and it's going to take a long time to break that mentality. It might never happen. Anyway, sorry for the long explanation, and thank you for reading and commenting on my story, I appreciate the feedback. Enjoy!
