I wrote my first books and had my first published poem in elementary school. In middle school, I began my first YA novel, the beginning of a series I've now been writing for 15+ years! (The Karissa trilogy includes characters from and is considered a spinoff of these books.) I started writing fanfiction and posting it here in high school  - mostly Batman, although I've dipped my toe into the Marvel universe a couple times. (These works are currently on hiatus). Some of the books that have inspired my work on and off Wattpad over the years include Melody Carlson's "True Colors" series,  Phyllis Reynolds Naylor's "Alice" novels, Lisi Harrison's "Clique" series and spinoffs, Barry Lyga's Brookdale novels, Tabitha King's Nodd's Ridge books and the works of Ellen Hopkins. Besides fiction, I like writing book and movie reviews and my cat's Instagram captions.
